Rare NPC gas site spawn

While running routine level 2 mining missions, a collection of BRAVE high sec miners decided to go into a wormhole and find some gas. After triggering a gas site in a C3, the normal set of sleepers spawned in addition to a NPC "boss"?

Has anyone ran into these types of NPC capital ships before, within C3s? They apparently are not siege capable, and do not drop blue loot.

Bashed POS put NPC alt in found dread, strip mods, **** fit, try and be funny about it. Did I miss anything? I think my point still stands.

It's a solid fit. With three prop mods you could probable speed tank the sleepers pretty well.

The wishlist is pretty much complete...

yeah, to clarify, they killed a POS with dropped a moros.
then since they cant remove it they brought in an NPC alt to sit in it, **** fit it and killed it.
