In-Game Events and Gatherings

Hello there, let me explain what Amarr duels is and how it works. The game is simple and the aim is to have fun without the worry of those bait duels outside the trade hubs, you know the ones I'm talking about where you accept a duel and the opponent docks up and comes out in a shiny and blats you. Not to mention he had logi and a linker ship in system.

Well the purpose of this is for us to pair up 2 suitable pilots of same skill group and ship class and pit them against each other to see who is the better pilot, also it's good for a little practice in the way of pvp. Although it's not a substitute for real pvp it's most likely the closes thing to it.

Now the way we work is we have pilots join out chat channel "AMARR DUELS" and they simply send a mail to the AMARR DUELS rep who is on duty with the class of ship the wish to duel with and link to there fit (link not essential but recommended as to pair you with a fair fight) Now you can use drugs ,boosters,implants and officer mods if you wish at your own risk,although we do SRP(ship replacement program) the loosing pilot we only SRP up to T2 ships and mods (no pirate or faction ships or shiny mods.)

This service is available to all pilots new and old and is highly recommended to anyone wishing to test a fit or just pilots who are simply bored hanging about outside a trade hub waiting to see a fight. We also suggest that players come join our chat even if it's just to see a fight and be entertained.

There is also the option to place a bet on the outcome of the duels and a good chance to win some isk, we also pay the winning pilot a % of the bets placed so there is incentive to come join us. We will also be creating a twitch stream of our duel events where pilots from anywhere in new Eden can join in the fun and even place bets.


Now just a few simple rules cause what would it be without rules?

:Both pilots must agree to a duel and accept who they have been pared with prior to duel.
:All fights will be away from stations and in a safe spot.
:A fleet will be created for AD admin and 2 contestants only (to avoid pilots getting linker boosts)
:No logi allowed on grid
:Any pilot who warps off grid will be fore fitting and will default to the other pilot winning fight
:Both contestants must agree to a starting distance before duel commences.
:It's highly recommended to send AD staff your fit so we can pair you with an equal fight but it's not essential if you want to keep your fit hidden.
:Drones are allowed
:If any alts or neutrals bump dueling pilots the duel will be called off.
:All winning bets placed are paid out at 65% of bet + original bet back (subject to change)
:SRP(only valid on up to T2 mods,ships we only SRP when bets are placed on the fight)
::DUELING PILOTS AREN'T ALLOWED TO PLACE BETS
:DUELS WILL BE EQUAL CLASS OF SHIPS(NO BS V Frig ect)
:ANY PILOT WHO TRIES TO MANIPULATE THE OUTCOME OF THE DUEL WILL BE BANNED FROM THIS SERVICE.
