I share accts among my various personalities. I'm never quite sure which one will be inhabiting my brain when I awake each morning.

If you are sharing the same body with different people and you share an acct among yourselves, can you be banned?

There are in fact exceptions. CCP has a squatter = ownership policy depending on how long it has been going on.

Find that hard to believe. It's more likely cases will be looked at on an individual basis rather than a set policy.

The word 'policy' may be a misstatement, but the fact of the matter is that at some point it is no longer considered your account, original owner or not. And thus is exempt from the enforcement of the EULA.

It's probably more complex than just a time limit. I would have thought it would be more like if there isn't enough evidence to make a sound judgement, they're more inclined to give the present owner the benefit of doubt.

I don't think evidence was the issue. But anyway, what I said was what they said in paraphrase.

This is why new people or people with questions hate eve, he asked a question and got 1. the same reply about 16 times 2. people taunting him over a ban.. he asked a question, he was not asking if he should RMT his account and that of his friends and all the isk he made via botting officer spawns with a few miner bots, market bots and mission bots running on side accounts.. chilllllll

If he done something wrong, let CCP deal with it, not in the wild west here chaps, from our POV he asked a question and he got it, no need to be dicks.

GD is full of the same type of griefers that think canbaiting in starter systems is elite PVP. "We're just teaching a lesson"' they justify as they do their level best to drive new players out of the game.

The sad thing is that though CCP has attempted to address this problem in game, the forum is still wide open for this type of crap. It's on them that new player retention is as low as it is.

As mentioned already it is in fact against the EULA and would be cause for a ban. It's impossible for anyone to explain to you how you can get away with it either. That in itself would probably be against the EULA.

With that said, CCP will not ban people for logging in from different IPs that are local. That would be disastrous for players that play from work for instance.

Keep speaking up my friend. You are one of the only regulars on here that has actual dignity and knows how to act like a proper adult. Posters like myself can cry about the forum-griefing all we want, but having guys like you speak up does wonders by comparison.
