The new industry changes are fantastic! Really makes everything accessible for me. As something I would not normally touch with a very long stick, its become fun and I can actually pick it apart now. Big smile

New interface is pretty good looking, comfortable to use and really speeds up things.

Love the cost scaling too, at least for station manufacturing/research as a part-time industrialist. Makes lowsec feel more cozy to live in for pvp+industry dudes.

Side note: I like the industry changes too, but not as much as the skillless module fitting..

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I'm interested to see what the long term effects of this expansion are. With so many people giving "the new thing" a try, prices on a lot of stuff are falling through the floor. It's a great time to have a station trading alt.

Now, how many people actually stick with it in the long term will be a major factor. I almost expect to see some serious razor thin profit margins in the long term, and reduced income for the base material farmers as well. This is, of course, unless people take dropping prices as a sign to actually get into some ships and explode them, instead of farming all of the time. That would definitely improve the overall outlook, in more ways than one.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

I still have yet to install the update, but from what I've read there is more not to like than like about it. I will install it before I comment further.

I'm not in any hurry though, to be honest.
