Whats the deal with petitions

Just as the title suggests, whats the deal with petitions.
After petitioning an issue a corp buddy got a reply the same day, since im waiting for 3 days now for any kind of reply.

Normaly i would ask this in a petition, but since there are no replies from any petitions...
I would understand delays.. but since i made my petition a half hour later then my fellow corpmate.. 3 days should be nuts, and at this point im doubting if it the petition went thru right.

So, its more informative then a complaint.

Personally, I never had an issue with response times (on urgent matters at least).

But it is possible in that half hour, 1000 more petitions were added before yours.

I'm guessing by the petition, you are talking about Concord shooting you because you repped some dude? Guess what? They're gonna pass over that and respond to other useful tickets.

Im not here to discuss what i've petitioned, and nope, im no logi pilot.

red flashy -> shoot it -> concord came (in a small conclusion), dont respond without any (offtopic)knowledge of the problem...

I can't speak for CCP, but I can give you a general idea from my own experiences.

At my last job, when my team checked in for our shift, the procedure was the same: check yesterday's Maintenance Tickets, perform callbacks, and repair any account issues that were put on hold for review the previous day.

Unfortunately, any number of things could delay that process -- sometimes it was our weekly team meeting or training for a new product launch, sometimes a computer issue would screw things up, and sometimes we were just neck-deep 'in queue' (basically, more calls were coming in than there were agents on the floor to answer them), which meant that my priority was to help clear the backlog and the tickets could wait.

I have no shame in admitting that, on occasion, I just plain forgot about the tickets. *lol*

Your ticket isn't being ignored, but it may take a while for the CS staff to get back to it.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

You can set up your overview to show unflagged neutrals as "red flashy" if you want, that doesn't prove anything

I just got back a reply to a ticket i filed during SWTOR beta that said I wouldn't be getting a reply, but more than likely whatever problem I had would be addressed by a coming patch and I should just go ahead and make my pre-purchase order now

as far as CCP goes, I have always gotten a reply within 24-48 hrs
which is quicker than my merchant account processor gets back to me, and I give them a hell of a lot more money

Between the layoffs and that people petition on stupid little stuff I am all for them just ignoring the more inane ones.

It's no secret your petition queue in many online games is shorter the more you pay in their Cash Mall. Wonder if it would be the same here? Roll
