An Implant That Makes You Appear As Two Different People In Local

Just as the title says. There should be an implant you can plug in that makes an additional character appear in local with you. This will be a random character from the name database, and will change every time you leave system.

When you die, the other person disappears too, like the Ice Climbers.

Why? What would this add?

Counter-proposal: Remove local so no one knows you are there unless they D-scan you and then land on grid.

counter proposal go live in a wormhole brosef:) There is a valid place where your "accursed local" isnt a problem and you can still go and rat and murder and indy in piece. All hail Bob!

I have never gotten the problem people have with local... I for one quite like seeing if i am running into any of my friends in system and will often wave at them in local... Sure it might be annoying for highsec wardeccers and random AFK alts in null. But there i am more or less sure those alts wouldnt leave without locla its just that the potentially resulting hotdrop would come less expected...

You seem to do pvp since in a fw corp.

they have seemed to fail you however in teaching basics. You are in organized pvp....make an alt. thats lesson 1. You will thank me when you have to move a BS and no one around to scout for you. Tack on whatever abilities you want after you make it ofc. But a fresh alt is your 2 local contacts to start.

It sounds to me that you have absolutely no bloody idea what an implant is...

Ah, but with this implant there would be four contacts in local with just you and your alt. Imagine the possibilities.

Troll idea probably.

But I seriously have no idea what you could possibly think to gain by your name, and the name of some random, appearing in local chat. If you're hunting for kills your targets are moving/warping to station or pos the minute any name not blue appears in local. Whether it is yours or the random alt who is not really present is irrelevant. They see you and flee, or they don't and you catch them. The phantom name didn't matter in the slightest.

I'm all for "death to local" (and supers too) but this suggestion makes zero sense.

I'm right behind you
