If you want to sell an item at the cheapest price,
don't try to be the cheapest of the whole system.

Instead, sort the orders by jumps and set your order to be the cheapest within a few jumps.

This way, you're the cheapest "locally" and still can make more money than by being the cheapest "globally".

Also: snipe. ^^

Missiles can decloak you, when within 2km.

Yes, the range is 2km. (many don't know and believe it's 2.5km)

In your Peoples & Places,
you can doubleclick the title of a folder
and a window, containing all the locations of that folder, will pop up.

This will also work with your assets

Always remember that in Rancer,
there's always a smartbombing battleship,
at least at one of the gates.

If it sounds too good to be true, it very probably is and you'll get scammed !

That said, send me 10 Million ISK as a reminder that you should never blindly trust any good deals.

For only 25 Million ISK, i will make sure that you will never ever get scammed,
simply by sending you a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE after i have received the money.

Minerals you mine are NOT for free !

They have what is called an opportunity cost !

Although you should probably read at least the first paragraph,
i'll sum it up for you as ...

Whatever you do, you can always get more money doing something else !

This means, by doing something that gains you less money than something else, (which happens most of the time)
whatever it is you're doing ... it costs you money.

If this confuses you,
then check the market/contracts for whatever you've got "for free"
and you know the range of it's current value, depending on your position.

Posting an URL on the forum with the correct tag and having a % sign in the same post
can confuse the BBCode-parser.

You can speedtank every level4 in a Rifter fitted with a 10mn AfterBurner,
given you're not a bad pilot.

Using a bigger ship doesn't necessarily mean that you can beat every smaller ship.

Using more expensive modules doesn't necessarily mean that your ship is fitted better.

Buying a three year old character brings you nothing if you don't know how to use it.

That said, please continue doing so, because we all love shooting clueless noobs
who believe they can buy success in EvE.

Minimise Local in Jita!

or train "ignore Local" at least to V

only valid if you are not in a war currently.
If your corporation is in war, ignore JITA.

If you can't fit stuff on your ship, check if you need to skill your support skills higher.

The most BASIC support skills are Electronics for CPU and Engineering for PowerGrid.

If you believe that you need a bigger ship because you lack CPU/PG,
but you haven't skilled these two to V yet,
then you'll learn it the hard way.

For additional information,
please read the evelopedia page about fitting ships
and remember to use google.

I wish people would stop saying this.

No, you do not have to be moving to launch a bomb successfully.

When bombs were first introduced they only had the velocity your ship imparted to them, this was changed.

Now, when you launch a bomb if fly's away from you for 30km and detonates (10 seconds after launch) regardless of your velocity.

It "is" true that it is always a good idea to be moving when you launch a bomb. It launches straight ahead of you so be careful not to over run it. Best practice is to have a warp out point dialed up and ready located directly on the opposite side of your target from where you are. That way you are already aligned and at speed to warp immediately after you decloak and launch.

Bombs will detonate (as long as you do not cloak or leave system prior to detonation) whether you are on grid with it or not.

You can now see the detonation point and radius by hovering your mouse over your bomb launcher in tactical view.

Im sure i read a recent forum thread in which is was proved that you need to be moving for a bomb to launch.

It makes sense, because if you are not moving, the game doesnt know which way is 'forward' to launch your bomb.

COME AT ME BRO

I'LL JUST BE DOCKED IN THIS STATION

I think i've read the same thread and it was actually a troll,
but as evelopedia doesn't give any hint about that ->
