What is Spooking?

Spooking is when you create a channel link that appears to be a kill-mail.
I did not invent this tactic of RUSE but I have the high score.

I have RUSED the following people into joining the spookey channel.

The Illumittani
Boodabooda
Lady Spank
Everybody in PASTA
CCP Falcon (or so I am told)


I have since created a helpful how to video explaining the process.

Someone brought me into a heavy christian channel once. I invited every pilot in jita and proceding to speak of the holy tentacle. Praise be.

This has been around for a long time.... Also, I have to thank the first guy who tricked me into this. After I fell for it, I asked him how it worked, he explained it and through that gained knowledge I can make neat looking links in chat that are nice to read & clickable.

Presentation matters!

Note, I don't trick people in joining channels, I just use this to create appealing links in chat to acces my eve newsblog.

Fell for it once. Hard trained pop-up elimination skills from the bad old days of the internet allowed me to close the channel again about as quick as it managed to load up.
