To be honest i don't think hulkagedon will have much impact this time round, what with goons already running a semi-permanent hulkageddon light as it is i just can't see it taking off like it usually does this year.

Part of winning an argument is looking smarter than your opponent, and quoting his name with the correct spelling helps.

I am, however, rather pissed that you're still interdicting T2 industrials. How the **** am I meant to play with my shiny new Prowler if I don't dare undock it?
You heartless bastards. 100mil ISK tied up, plus that covops cloak I got from an abandoned can at a gate.

But hey. At least when I can sneak the hulk out when nobody's looking, an hour's ice mining pays better than missioning, even when selling to buy orders.

I'm not really sure but I think you might be doing something wrong if you are worried about undocking a prowler in hisec or anywhere for that matter. What are they going to do? Shoot you while you're cloaked?

Shrug...I've kept a low profile through the other Hulkageddons and managed to mine some during those. However, I tend to just play other games (like Skyrim for example), when these events occur. Playing EvE during the event is a waste of time.

You say this like it would be the beginning of him engaging in suicide attacks Roll

Besides, its not like the Mittani is somehow "better" than everyone else at suicide ganking, he just really really enjoys it and encourages his Alliance to do the same.

You can't really be "better" at suicide ganking (and therefore more scary) than anyone else - because it involves very little skill. All you need is a destroyer, Brutix, or one of the new Tier 3 battlecruisers, a ton of damage mods, and enough elementary math skill to ensure that the attack is both successful and that it kills a target more expensive than the ship lost in the attack. Its cheap, mindless fun, which is why its so popular amongst players bored with broken nullsec space.

What I am interested to see is the effect that the insurance changes have on an event like Hulkageddon. Without payouts for suicide attacks, Hulkageddon should be a lot more expensive for those that choose to participate. Perhaps removing that much isk from the game will help reduce recent inflation to a degree.

Meh, Hulkageddon really doesn't impact lowsec life much. Unless you spend all day in high sec belts, there is plenty of game play that is relatively undisturbed.

Economic impacts during the event are usually the ones that affect the largest spread of players, regardless of where you live and play.

You can be "better" by using a newly buffed Catalyst instead of expensive Brutix or Talos. 800 dps of overheated dps out of 500 mil dessie hull. No, you won't need those guns later.Lol

Not more than an announcement sans any infois released and you all are already soiling yourselves with fraidy pees. What a sad, spineless rabble.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

Well, Hulkageddon proper is an organized event, with its own killboard, prizes, and promotional period. The prizes / kill tallies only go on for so long, but general suicide ganking, like you pointed out, is a year round EvE pasttime.

It's a tight fit, but it can be done. And it's very cheap if your target has a chance of a good drop.

Yeah but using a 17 mil ISK catalyst for 100-150 more DPS is quite ineffective

It is true, please spread the word.

There are a few choices you could make.
You could fight them off (or try to).

Just dock and dont mine or make fun of them.
Please visit the Point and laugh at hulkageddon and its participants threads in C&P or General to maybe post ideas or enjoy some pretention from the geddon crew if you so choose to make fun of it. And make it fun for you to.

Once you think you have it all, you have actually become ignorant towards everything else.

Some men are ludicrously space-rich. vOv Also, 17 mil is pretty much a drop in the bucket.

I will rephrase this.

You can post ideas in the C&P point and laugh at hulkageddon and its participants post.

The one in Generla got locked, which is fair enough, it was a bit of a crosspost.

Once you think you have it all, you have actually become ignorant towards everything else.
