Character Transfers

I think CCP broke using plea to transfer characters. I have two characters I am trying to transfer right now and neither of them will accept the Plex (and yes I am doing the correct number: 2) that I have reverse redeemed to use as payment. I put a petition in close to a day ago and have no response so I felt I would try here as I do not feel it is right to make the new owners wait longer than they should. Any CCP people know why I cannot use Plex to transfer a character now? Even though I am using Plex, and have selected that option, I keep having this error message pop up:

We were unable to authorize your payment at this time. Please ensure you have sufficient funds and/or contact your bank/card issuer for further information.

Seeing as though I do not use a bank card, only Plex, I do not understand why this message is popping up.

i am having same problem at first i tryed paying the 20 dollars to transfer and it failed so i spent 35 ( yes an 15 bucks ) on 2 plex and i have the same problem as stated above
i spent a extra 15 bucks just so the other guy didnt have to wait and still its been a few hours and no progress

Just a quick note on this.

The error messages that are thrown out are horribly, horribly misleading. The same error message is given, no matter what is actually stopping the transfers.

In many petitions we are receiving regarding this, then the problem is that the character that is being transferred is in a player corporation, but character must be in non-player corporation for transfers to be possible.

Also, if you are paying with PLEXes, then make sure that they are in the redeeming system. It is not enough that they are in your hangar.

Now, if this is not what's stopping the transfer, then definitely contact us through the petition system, and we will dig around and try to find out just what is causing the problem.

both of us have made sure all that is done petions are up as we type this i will log on and look again as well

ok i have made sure i have the plex in redeem ittems
made sure there are no assest at all left not even a pod
made sure i am in a npc corp
use both ingame browser and internet explore and firefox to try it
tryed my credit card
made sur i have plenty of cash
made sure i am logged off
made sure no horse shoes are upside down
the computer is pluged in
check the spelling of the account its going too
i asked if there was room for my toon found out all 3 slots are open


ok anyone else having this problem ?

I have been waiting 2 days for a missing plex after character transfer the other day, can you please get whoever is dealing with the petition to full his friggin finger out and sort it please Twisted

found the issue if ur buyer is currently transfering a toon u can not send him a toon until its completed

so looks like it was my buyers problem ok in 4 hours we will se if this fix works

I'm also having problems transferring this character. I've tried every payment option and this character is in a npc cprp.

to the musteg that isnt the problem im trying to transfere to another account that has only ever had 2 toons on it still wont work ive also sold this toon but am unable to transfere it only got 2 days sub left hope they sort this soon

also 12hours on petition so far still nothink :(

Yep Same problem here, Tried all payment options and still dont work even in NPC corp and even with plex in redeem section. Hoping they fix this issue.
