Crius - Feedback on industry UI (bucket list)

  • Job delivered shows the output location, however active Jobs does not show output location. Why? This is important information.
  • Same deal as above for Total Job cost. Cost paid isn't displayed while job is in progress.
  • Cost index bar is not good enough. The index mouseover should to show the exact numerical cost index value.
  • Please add a cost breakdown mouseover for the 10% NPC tax. This will make comparisons between POS/station jobs a little easier.
  • Active blueprint name positioned on top left of the main industry screen is too far out of the active eye focus. Either make it stand out a little bit more or move it to center position.
  • 2 pointer arrows for the materials mouseover when manufacturing. I'm scratching my head over the redundancy as both display the same numbers, regardless of no. runs. Am I missing something?
  • Show info on Blueprints should include information on WHERE they can be manufactured. This information is useful to players when it comes to POS arrays (or any future starbase changes).
  • Reprocessing array should have a proper UI for reprocessing (!?).
  • The map navigation that shows all pertaining information to industry needs to be linked somewhere in the main industry UI. Not many players are aware it exists.

Issues:

  • The UI seems buggy when selecting a BP. Almost every time the first BP selected won't load for me... I select the next and it loads. Doubleclicks on BP, BP menu load, these do not work each and every time when moving between BPs. Sometimes BPs seem to get "stuck" in the UI and you cannot get another to load.
  • RAM the cost is completely wrong on these inputs now resulting in false input costs. I moved "3 bil" of ram in my hold: it was not 3 bil worth on the market so whatever the system is using as a base figure is way off.

When you select an Output location, can you have the Industry UI remember your setting? Also, hangars that you don't have access to shouldn't be in the dropdown for Output Location.

The corporation setup I am using for researching has one corp hangar available for members with limited roles, and the output location defaults to a hangar that they don't have access to. That would mean any completed jobs would end up in that inaccessible hangar, and I've to go in there to get them.

Since there is no auditing on whose blueprint it is once the job is submitted, that could get a bit sticky. Yes I know there's a history for corp jobs, but it doesn't tell me what the output blueprint ME/TE is at, so if there are multiple blueprints of the same type ending up in the corp hangar, I won't know which is whose.

+1: Get rid of the damn animations
+1: Adjust ME/TE to see the changes

Also, the window is just too damned large. This has turned into a 2-monitor job. The materials on the left take up too much space, make it collapsible.

(But overall I love the changes!!)
