Working on a list of topics that automatically earn a lock!

After all, we know its the 'CCP sad feel' content that matters, not the rules. Wait, you really thought it was about the rules? Lol

And yes, this breaks the rules about discussion of moderation. I'll take a page out of America's Official skidmark-in-the-undershorts, Prez Obama. "So? Sue me."

I'll make it even easier. This is also is a troll -so no need to reload your copy-pasta, we all know you have the 'troll justification' hotkeyed.

1.Discussion of the New Order, the CODE, or James 315 in a positive, constructive context.
-A few idiots that don't accept the CODE, get mad, thus - its automatically a troll.

2.Discussion of Dust as anything other than a positive.
-If you agree with the majority of the human race - that Dust sucks and was a stupid idea to begin with - well, CCP doesn't want THOSE kinds of opinions on GD. Not good for retention rates.

3.Discussion of PLEX prices in any form.

4.Defense of Erotica1
Witchhunts, racism, and why he needs to be roundhouse-kicked in the face. A-OK, threadnaught ahoy!
Try to defend him and take he **** out of Riptard? Earn a two week forum ban. <----personal experience.

5.-Discussion of ganking in anything other than a negative context.
-"How can we nerf it?" = acceptibru "How we can improve life for gankers?" = troll.

6.Discussion of AFK Cloaking in any form.

You know, maybe this thread should actually be stickied.

It might save the ISDs a lot of time, not that ISD workload concerns me much.

Instead of making up bogus reasons to lock threads over and over, stop playing games and point them here.

That is a fairly comprehensive list. I have a few to add though. Oh, and in before lock, of course.

Discussing exploits is a great way to get an auto lock.

Discussing the overall hotness of anyone but CCP Guard is almost a guaranteed lock.

Comprehensive? Those are just the ones I could come up within in the 5 minutes or so I spent thinking about it after clocking out! Most are topics which I've gotten silly locks or bans for over the years.

The point of the thread was to get others to fill in the gaps a bit. Well, that and take a gratuitous shot at Obummer, since its a doomed thread to begin with.

I too, was in space when my bounty got hunted.

Sadly, I rarely go there any more. In space, that is.

Had a very interesting convo with the fellow while waiting for my flight in Helsinki-Vantaa airport a couple years ago.

Tangled with a similarly named alt of his, and didn't realize until much later who it was - or why he was trying to destroy my POS.

Cool, chill guy done wrong by the usual suspects.

It's not like the forum rules are ambiguous or ad-hoc. This thread clearly violates the rule of discussing forum moderation.

But admittedly, that and the other topics might not be themselves taboo, it's just the threads around them devolve into trolling and smearing.

Sorry, my general rule is never to post an OP that takes me longer than it takes for an ISD to lock it.

Because it is kind of like them 'ganking' your time. I aim for at least a 1:1 time ratio when 'forum bumping' the mods.

The list is nearly infinite and varies based on the blood sugar levels of ISD on any given day.

A comprehensive list is nearly infinite, and the forum rules justify pretty much any ISD action. I can't really think of anything it doesn't cover. "Trolling" is a pretty ambiguous, term, that covers pretty much any action or statement some one could find as inflammatory. I could say CCP makes good decisions, and then get my post removed because some one thought I was being sarcastic, and attempting to get a rise out of people.

The safest way to not get a forum ban / thread deletion is to just not post.
