Capsuleers!

I have a friend who is stuck in a permanent wardeck with CFC.

He's about to leave corp and go back to highsec.

How does he get back to his old corporation? Corporation is not member of any alliance. People say one can't just leave and rejoin another corp due to changes in wardec mechanics. Something about being in NPC corp for a short time before rejoining player-corp.

I think that if he leaves while in a wardec he has to wait at least 7 days to rejoin.

Ask you friend why he's even bothering with a wardec if he's not in hisec.

But yes, he will have to wait a week in an NPC corp before going back to his old life.

He's simply not active enough to remain with us. 7 days sounds like what I've been told.

Thanks guys :)

What? Did CCP change something with Wardecs? I missed something didn't I?Oops

I try to be nice and mind my business just shooting lasers at rocks. There is just way too many asshats in New Eden for that to happen.

nah these guys are confusing it. if he wishes to rejoin any OTHER player corp then his current wardecced corp he doesnt have to wait 7 seconds let alone 7 days

The "seven days" rule applies to new corps anchoring control towers and associated modules/arrays. Players can move freely between corps regardless of wardec status, but POS assets have a seven day (from the founding of the corp) wait.

So he can rejoin his old highsec corp directly WITHOUT that corp getting wardecced too? You guys sure about this?

Correct. Wardecs are bound to corps/alliances, not players. The only way to "inherit" a wardec is for a defending corp currently at war to join an alliance.

The wardec does not automatically follow him, no. But there is nothing stopping CFC from wardeccing whatever corp he moves into as well, so keep that in mind.

There are no 'friends' in EvE. There are the peoples you can kill, the peoples you can't kill yet, and figments of your immagination. There are no 'friends.'

Alternately, OP is likely refering to an alt. Otherwise this 'friend' would be posting asking this themselvesand not trying to hide the fact that they're probably about to abscond with a bunch of that corp's goodies.

Just throwing it out there but the cfc couldn't give a dam about 1 person unless he is 1 of the who's who of eve ;). your friend can leave the corp and join another. Once he quits current corp or at least drops roles for 24 hours he is free to join anybody who will take him
