I am wanting to get into level 5 missions as a way to fund my pvp. I run some incursions but sometimes it just don't work with my time schedule and flying 20+ jumps to run for a couple hours just isn't worth it sometimes. Whats a good ship to use other than carrier(training for one atm). Also are there any groups who do this as to have friendlies if anything does goes bad. I ran them with a friend along time ago when you could use unscannable tengus.

Check out my previous posts on running L5s.

If you want to do it with a single ship, Carrier is the easiest but MJD Golem with work too (need to be careful with mission selection). Carrier has a selection of 7 "good" missions. Golem has 5 good missions

If you can bring Alts/Friends Domi fleets work great.

A fleet of 3x Domi + auguror will clear ~ 8 missions per hour yielding 700K LP + 100 Mil ISK + occasional faction item/implants. You have to limit yourself to the 10 or 11 missions that can be blitzed.

It was a lot more lucrative when LP was 1.2K but you should still be able to pull in 450 Mil / Hour with very little risk. (I think I have lost a total of one Auguror in the last year to low sec pirates).

Back in the day people did it with passive tanked Rattlesnakes.

No idea if that is still viable.

Yup still works. Passsive fit Tengu is my favorite toy for lvl 5's. Just skip minmatar and angel missions and you are fine. Advantage of Tengu is that you can change a sub and fly cloaked to te mission system.

Also beware of gankers. There are some pretty good ones out there. So always make 0 spots and instawarps and all mission systems you get.
