How to station duel?

ok hi, so I come across a pilot who seems to do nothing but sit outside a trade hub and raking in a ton of kills for his KB.
now I have a couple of theories on his tactics , feel free to jump in and tell me if I'm right.

So my fjrst thought is how on earth is he getting tons of kills? And not just small ones nice big juicy ones to.

So, is he just simply spamming bis invite to duel in the hope someone accepts?
or maby he's being more clever about it , he challenges someone in a nice shiny BS whist he's in a tanky frig or cruiser. obviously making it look like and easy kill for the mark, Wait now he tanks it for 60 sec then redocks and comes out in a beefy NI Bs and hands it to them.

Either way I have no idea how he's doing it and would love to know. This guys KB if chalk full of trade hub kills and he's baiting tbem Into it somehow and I would love to know how.

You don't get any timers from dueling until you actually shoot at someone, so you sit on a trade hub in anything non-threatening and spam invites at anyone who happens by in something shiny. When someone is dumb enough to accept your invite and shoot at your bait ship, you immediately dock up and then come back out in your pimped out Vindicator or whatever.

He has remote reps save him when the other pilot is fully committed. he might also have a booster alt out, to help with tank or speed or range.

Neutral logi/s with a suicide falcon alt. Saw it on jita undock after someone accepted a duel and was winning even with the neutral logi.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

So would his remote reps not go flashy? Therefor getting ganked as soon as he tries to rep him.

Most pilots don't seem to have the presence of mind to attack the logi.

If they are the one in the fight, they seem to have blinkers on and not think about good target selection; and others just seem to sit around in space and watch rather than attacking the logi.

The logi usually stays within the docking perimeter and is relatively easy to force off grid, however I don't know why more people don't bring a fleet and draw the guy off station and then kill both the logi and the blingy ship.

More folks don't bring a fleet because they just don't care about ninnies that duel on trade hub undocks.

Guy sits on undock all day racking up crazy kb stats. KB stats that just don't make sense.... Once you see that - assume he's got an edge to back up the numbers and ignore him. It's just one more guy feeling awesome about racking up big kb numbers. If that's his thing - cool. If you don't want to be one of his stats - don't accept.

Station games simplified:

1. Get links and neutral logistics in system
2. get a good pod ready
3. make yourself look as wimpy and nonthreatening as possible
4. some pilot accepts a duel or duels you
5. bump them off station with an alt
6. come out in something with lots of DPS and tank, proceed to murder other players ship
7. hope to loot and scoot

OR

Go suspect outside station and some idiot shoots you thinking your going to die. skip to step 5 and continue

Rinse was repeat

No people who do this know what they are doing, nuetral logi will repair them if they cant handle the fight, and it actually works better outside trade hubs sometimes as people will do stupid things like attack you in a barge thinking that your going to die anyways and you dont have to deal with 12 man Tornado blobs on the undock ready to 1 shot your bait

And the good pod is in reference to running with High_Grade Slaves, Crystals, Snakes, Etc. To give you an edge again in the fight since you will almost never lose your pod in high sec
