Add the functionality of drag and drop to the watchlist, so you can easily change the order without having to clear everyone out of it. (Hint: Use your code library and copy it from waypoint manager in the autopilot Big smile)

First off, thank you for your reply - it's good to know that you guys are actually considering this :)

I take it by bubble you mean grid?

An indicator that a ship is in warp would be nice to have

Basically, stuff that we can do within the limited scope that we have is "show things that are available to your client" which is things that you can see on grid. So showing ships that are in warp or in a station or being shot at somewhere else is not possible, but showing distance to ships in your bubble, type of ship in your bubble, etc. is possible.

Not sure if this was posted, but allow us to reorganize the sequence pilots are in the watch list, ie drag & drop like the target locks you guys recently implemented. Some of us like to group our watch list people by what they're in (and when someone dc's you have to rebuild the list to get them back in top / second position ,etc).

i would like to be able to move pilots in the watch list (up/down), and maybe drag and drop them from the overview
to be able to see their range (like 100km tackle asking for reps :))) would be an added bonus as well

good thread

Capacitor status would be very useful to see as well, but of course that's not part of info available to another pilot's UI at present, so it's probably more difficult.

I think you could add more info to the watchlist than just range. Mkae it like a mini, highly customizable, overview.

Hell, you could even add enemies (offgrid or not, in system only requirement) that ungrey when they come on grid (and not cloaked)

Don't do it! Making it easy for noobs to see if they're getting separated from the herd will only result in less drama. The weak and stupid were supposed to be eaten... remember? There is a coming of age as a fleet pilot that we've all been through and paying attention to details is part of that!

There SHOULD be a certain amount of task-loading involved in flying in a fleet.... it's not just the FC who should be doing all the thinking! If you implement the auto "tell-me-if-I'm-lunch" warning then you'll be doing exactly what should not be done!

I mean... if you're going to do that when why don't you implement a tag for "anchor" and let them just turn on their autopilot and orbit the anchor... maybe it should even turn on their mwd if they're too far away and align to a random celestial if they're getting yellow-boxed by the whole other fleet?

Sheesh. This is EVE online. Don't take away the pride involved in mastering it! Why else would we be playing this game instead of sticking our thumb up our proverbial you-know-what and wishing we were "real" gamers!

Capacitor status of another person's ship is easily determined using the correct module (ship scanner). Being able to see this without needing to utilize a midslot for the module seems entirely overpowered.

yes, since your always looking at your fleet mates cap, and not your enemies?

THIS is what we need, im tired of people leaving and joining fleet when i like having my cap buddies at the top of the list, when someone leaves and a new one joins i have to remove everyone off the list ONE AT A TIME then add them again...

A extra bar for the cap of the target would also be nice, so you can sort out cap chains quicker, get a quick and relay able information about logis falling out of the chain by neuts and a lot less trouble if people are late with broadcasts or coms.

Also the ability to sort the watch list by drag and drop would be cool to readjust the list on diskos/people leaving/joining whiteout recreating it. A bigger watch list(10 is a bit limited if you looking at bigger gangs or pve stuff like Assaults or C5) would be also nice.

i would rather see the watchlist intelligently integrated into the overview, with like "sticky entries" and health bars.

I would like to have both, the option to sticky something on my overview and to have range in km at my watch list. No hp, shields or anything needed in overview, Such informations imo do not belong there. If you would went this road, we would and should share hp information of targets across fleet, than and only than it would make sense to present such data in overview.

Anyway, Shields, Armor, Hull, Cap, 'is targeted by fleet member' (via color code borders), is 'targeted by non-fleet member' (via color code), and distance would be all essentiell and usefull informations for a logistic pilot and should belong into that watchlist.

And keep the size as it is, but drag and drop for more order sounds good. But simply using arrows to move people on your watch up and down would be perfectly fine too.

edit: actually, if I think about it. Intergrate fleet messages into watch list. small icons and/or a color coded outline(s) for "need armor", "need cap", "need shield", etc
No need to show cap here, no need to show if someone is targeted or not, and still a good way to manage informaton visible to a pilot.

Remove insurance.

Some of the the new changes to the neocomm and watchlist have been outlined in the recent Dev Blog (Link) ; however, range was not included at the moment.

CCP Atlas, you mentioned that adding range was a possiblility and was being considered - can you give us any update on this?

However, still no word on including range on WL...
