I think the true strategy is to not increment your character names with a number. That way people can't really be sure

This is the strategy I have adopted. I could put 14 characters in a belt and no one suspected a thing... then I realised that I could make almost as much ISK with 3-4 characters and cancelled my ISBoxer account.

But hey, what do I know right?

No you bring however many people you have. If they scouted you and then realised they cant fight it then they did their job if you hid your numbers well enough you did your job.
