The above statement is very true in this game. The biggest and the best want something in return and they dont care about new players who are nice guys who learn fast.

yes i get that. thanks for the heads up which ive gotten about 1000 times and no answer. I dont care if they are not going to let me in. im not going to try. im just curious about the game is all. and who the top corps are. so again, who are the biggest / oldest / and most legendary corps?

color you start map by sovereignty and look for anyone who owns a huge area of 0.0 space...

I might be a semi-litterate bittervet (depending on the definition thereof) but those are alliances, not corps.
Although, in them, might lurk the answer to OP question.

This is the closest I could get. Haven't found a list of corps with their numbers yet.

And on the SOV-overlay on the map in EVE, that too displays alliances.

EDIT: Actually the answer was right under my nose (as usual).

top left names the top 10 corps, top right the top 10 alliances.

On oldest and most famous, no idea, not a bittervet myself

EDIT2: One of the more famous 'corporations' out in EVE is Otherworld Enterpises. This is a corp/alliance all manned by Chribba and it's alts.
