Pirate Epic Arcs

Looking to do the Pirate epic arcs (angels and guristas) but I am concerned about the potential negative faction hit that I would take if I do it.

I am high faction with amarr and caldari (dont' care about minmatar and gallente) and wouldn't want to take a significant hit in faction with them.

I see in guides that there the gurista arc at least has you killing lots of caldari ships.

Question to those veterans who have finished the pirate arcs, do I get any negative standings competing those arcs?

A side question to confirm, does getting the faction with guristas/angels at the end cause derived loss with caldari/amarr? Or no derived just like the sisters quest?

You get very very minor negative standings to empires. My hisec mission alt has run the Guristas arc twice and it did virtually nothing to my Caldari standings. The high Guristas standing gain at the end does not affect Caldari / Amarr standing

and if you find yourself getting low, just do the SoE epic arc.

You'll get a small standings hit for aggression / ship kill in a couple of the missions but it's nothing when compared to the standing gain you get for completing the arcs.

Also if you want to quickly regain the lost standing you can always work the Amarr / Caldari Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'.

By the way, Substantia Nigra has excellent Pirate Epic Arc Support Packages available.
