Any news on what the next mini expansion will bring?

If they are following the normal pattern of these things, there are probably bits of Crius that did not make the main patch because they were still broken as at patch day.

the new programming style they are using meant that everything is done in autocontained pieces of code, if one or more such code piece/s is ready to be deployed when the code freeze period comes it will be launched, if not nothing will happen.
main problem with this code style is that management tend to get too eager and -pretend- that somethig be released so if this thrend is not keept in check you'll get a lot of buggy, poor tought code released only because something flashy has to be released every 6 weeks.

Not really. The benefit of point releases and expansions every six weeks is it allows all the development teams to work independently of each other. This means one team could be working for 2 years on a single release while the other teams release fluff.

Bacon stuffed bacon will be implemented in the release after the release in order to appease the people disappointed with the release. Look for Bacon stuffed bacon with bacon on top in the release after the release after the release to satisfy those who were disappointed with the bacon stuffed bacon. For those who are disappointed with the next two releases, there will be bacon wrapped bacon stuffed bacon with bacon topping coming in winter 2014.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

No that's not what they confirmed. The will be having a release window every 6 weeks, which isn't the same thing. Whatever is ready for release goes into the next release window. That doesn't always mean that there's going to be new shiney every 42 days.
