I live.... again!

Now that I have risen from my grave for the first time in three years I since played this game, I have decided to raise a new character and my only purpose?

Raising hell, just for the fun. And I think to start seeking my way down into Low-sec or even Null to start hunting. In my former life, I was a miner who had the ideals and dreams to open up my own ammo shop somewhere. Sadly, those dreams came a bit crashing down due to real life economics forcing me to stop playing this game for a long time.

I considered and thought what I would do if I did ever return.. well... obviously I chose to return in style.. hungering for some nice blood... and gank anyone I see fit... Twisted Heheheheh! There is a reason I took the name Caleb Bloods, if someone clues in on the name sometime. I got dynamites and shotguns for everyone.

But first off.. to get a nice ship to raise some hell with. Should I go for the good old Rifter? Or should I go straight for the Trasher and be a buff guy. Or should I go overboard with the poor fighters and get the Tornado and put in some nice short-range guns on it and slap a few webbers in place?

Oh please tell your delicious ideas. Im eager to start raising hell soon.

If you don't have that much experience with PvP, you should really start off in Rifters; you're going to lose quite a few.

Are you going for solo, or do you plan on joining a corp?

Rifters aren't a bad start for PVP, neither is the thrasher but if your going to low sec youll want something with tank so you can actually consider shooting the industrials that come through the gates without poping instantly to the turrets.

~ T1 Cruisers
~ Heavy Assault cruisers
~ Broadsword
~ Rapier

those are all great ships in low sec when fitted right, if your planning to move to null sec i suggest a Sabre as well since bubbling gates is amazingly entertaining or catching those pesky explorers in their sites

I plan on being solo, as I doubt im to get very many 'friends' by going around and causing chaos.

Low sec can be fun, but all those CORE guys... they got so much delicious bounties on them too to boot. And from how Bounties work... destroying their ships could end up being quite beneficial.

Quite the opposite. You will gain many friends simply by being willing to fight. You will most likely have several offers of recruitment after a few weeks.

I got all the will to fight... heheheh....

What I am planning for is causing chaos, mayhem and pick fights left and right. And all expecting to die 95% of the time.. :) I die, I just rise up from the grave and return for more.

Perhaps I should stock up on a bunch of Rifters... Twisted

I remember the "I live ... again" line, wasn't it a FPS called Blood? where you started by being resurrected from the dead and then the first level was fighting through a graveyard or something? I played it for a while but it didn't really grip me.

As Leto said, willingness to get out there and shoot people may make you some enemies, but no-one you should care about anyway.

You are absolutely correct Voetuis.. :) And I intend to be just as insane and love to inflict misery on others just like good old Caleb (who is the player char of the FPS game Blood)... >:) TwistedTwisted

And how true you speak. Caleb himself wouldn't care either way. He only care about blowing stuff up, going gun toting left and right and just laugh like a psychopathic maniac from hell.

Quick off-topic: Speaking of which, my best favorite moment from Blood is always his crazy laughs when be blow people up into bits.

If you want to cause mayhem, I actually recommend staying in highsec for a while.

Lowsec is somewhat overfished - there are too many predators, and not enough prey. This means you will be spending a lot of time between fights looking for someone that will engage. Often when you do find a fight, they will be bored predators with six friends sitting a jump away.

In highsec, shooting your corpmates is always legal. So you can join corporations that advertise as PVE corps, meet new people, hold them ransom and blow their ships up. Unlike the life of the lowsec predator, you will get enough ISK doing this that you will not need to have an ISK generation side career either.

There's a few highsec predators that you might want to research too - Cannibal Kane, Psychotic Monk and the alliance The Marmite Collective might all be worth observing (sadly Monk seems too busy IRL to play much now, why he got married is beyond me). Watch what they do, and decide if you want to mimic them.


If you just want PVP practice, get 100 million ISK, contact one of the four factional warfare militias (someone else can put you in touch) and sign up for FW. Don't just run complexes for money, actively hunt the enemy. You'll get a crash course in frigate PVP there, both solo and small gang.

You could always join CODE.

All the juicy freighters you can gank, and the ganking ships are free!!!!!

RvB would suit your style too.

If you want to make special friends, you could join Eve University with an eye for.....dare I say it....awoxing?


Or, speaking of awoxing, you could start joining mining/indy corps and hold their Orca's for ransom.......:)

Let's hope that all the mining you did previously hasn't completely ossified your brain. Most CODE members are -10 so you don't need to join us if you want to gank us. But white knighting is boring gameplay so why would you want to do that. Much more fun joining us. (Of course solo ganking requires a second account for scouting.)

Or you could get into a thrasher and hunt auto-piloting shuttles and pods. There are several pilots who make a sport out of it, and the tears flow fast & furious.

Other tips given above for FW and being active are very valid as well.

I have gotten alot of options.... which I thank you all for. :D

Awoxing, though it is a sure shot way to get ALOT of enemies... it sounds like some good fun. Twisted

Or go low-sec and live big time piracy or just fight for the fun of it.

Or go Faction Warfare just to go and raise some hell there.

Or make a solo corp, start pissing people off and let them wardec me so I can have all the fun in the world.


Now with the ideas written down and my plans are in the works... all I need to do first is to get some skills up. So I can get more teeth. And prepare alot of backup 'stuff'... >:D

Went into low sec to see if I could get some good fights. All I got was a six man gatecamp that instant popped my ship and my pod (no augments incase you ask) and thus I have been blooded and suffered my first pod death in EVE ever since I started playing this game years ago.

It was inevitable of course, but atleast it came with no substantional loss.

Anyways.... so going low sec seems like a poor idea indeed. Guess the gate campers have taken full control of the low sec areas I was trying to enter. And plus my skills are way too low.... Makes me wonder if I should go and get my skills up a bit more, go FW or what...
