Hi guys anyone got issue with the Drone Avionics yesterday i got it on Lvl 5 and today CCP change it to lvl 3 why is that??

I also have this, but mine went from 5 to 4 !!!!

Yes, it's an issue, no it's not just you. CCP are aware of it and are working on a fix.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

From the Crius patch notes..

"In this patch we are bumping up the level of Drone Avionics for all players to the same level that they had Combat Drone Operation when we deployed Kronos."


If I remember correctly in Kronos they gave everyone whatever they had at a higher level of Combat Drone Operation or Scout Drone Operation that level of Drone Avionics.

So if you had either Combat Drone Operation or Scout Drone Operation 5 you got Drone Avionics 5. Now it's what level of Combat Drone Operation you had.


So maybe some players had this at 4 so now your Drone Avionics would have been reduced to 4 as well.


Someone please correct me if I'm wrong... Going off memory here.

My Drone Avionics went from 5 to 3 yesterday

Was your combat drone operation 3 before Kronos? I honestly can't remember exactly on one of my pilots. Perhaps I should save my skills to text just in case CCP does something crazy.

My Drone Avionics has been jumping around between 5 and 4. I fit the t2 drone link augmentors and its fine for a while til I try to undock at some point, and get the warning I have offline modules. The skill is then back at 4. My internet kicks me off every so often and when I log back in its at 5 again. I think I will just leave the t1 links in til this is sorted.

If I try fit the skill in the training que when its at 4, I get a warning that I'm trying to put an illegal skill in it. I'm sure they'll fix it a some point.

Oh and my scout drone operation was at 5 prior to this.

Still an issue, i have Drone Av. trained to 5 , in the log says "gm "gift"" drone av 4, can`t equip DLAII...

Im getting the same thing.Had to 5 already now its on 3 and in history it says lvl3 GM Gift.Stop "fixing the game"already.Maybe you should let us get over the initial shock of everything you guys have already nerfed before you make more awesome "changes".I dont plex i pay my sub with real money and im starting to get turned off real fast as of lately if you even give a sh#t.

So is this something that's going to be fixed and skills returned back to where they were?

I don't want to waste any time training this skill back up to where I had it if they are going to fix it.

This is really frustrating to me because it took me back down to 2 and I can't use some of my drone modules anymore.

you cant even train it as the system see it twice, one at 5 and one at 4 (or 3 for some).
its stuck till they will fix it.

I'm having the exact same issue, Drone avionics skill shows 5, cannot online DLA 2's. This was not a problem yesterday. I'm guessing the most recent patch has somehow recreated the previous issue for some of us.

CCP please.
