I would like to see a feature added to the Character API, that can indicate if a character has changed owners. Of course, this could be an additional authorization mask, but it might be helpful with identifying chars that possibly has been bought or sold.

I have been playing for a long time, and recently I tried to reach out to some pilots I had flown with many years ago, however they seemed rather convinced this char had been sold at some point.

I would like to be able to offer some reasonable evidence that would suggest that this char has never swapped accounts and that the account itself has been under the authority of the same person all along.

The feature shouldn't go into any more detail, maybe even just a green light that means "original owner", anything else means the account or char had changed hands at some point.

Thanks

Just because a character has changed account, doesn't mean it's changed person.

Because the Legacy Code has too much Psssssssssssssssh, nothing will ever get fixed until CCP stop wasting money on failed sparkle MMOs and instead rewrite the entire backend of EvE from scratch.

Fair enough, then we can have two fields, changed account, changed owner. Or maybe just report if the char has changed owners.
