Incredibly slow download speed

I have sent a buddy invite to my friend , and the installer won't download the game faster than 100kbyte/s (which is hilarious for a 100mbit connection ) while he has normal speeds everywhere else on the internet.

He left his computer on for the night so that the client can download the game but he when he woke up the installer welcomed him with some nice error in the morning (he forgot to write down the error code ofc...) .

He is trying to download the offline installer but it is also very slow for him.

Any guess what could be the problem ?

Is there any alternative download for the client ? It's seems like the CCP servers and his network doesn't really like each other.

I agree. EVE has very slow download.
My Inet speed is 3MB(30Mbps) but downloading at 50-70KB with launcher or offline installer.

My SWTOR/Battle.net downloading at full speed.

what wrong with CCP?

Ok, he finally were able to install it but he gets disconnected all the time Sad
