Bounty system question.

How does the bounty system work now, was out of game when the retribution expansion hit, and never looked into it when I came back during the next expansion.

Not anymore, you get 20% of the value of the ship and its contents. So unless the bountied is flying a really expensive ship/fit and or carrying expensive cargo, the payout is minimal.

Bounty hunting

They fixed what you were talking about but to do that made the system more or less irrelevant. Its turned into more of a contest to see who can get bountied the most. "Bad" people wear it like a bagde of honor.

Ok thank you. One more question. If a large bounty is on a player, and that player is in high sec.. concord will still come to there aid if they are right ? This kinda makes bountys not legal.

To add if you successfully suicide gank someone, you will recieve the bounty payout.

Hence why the bounty system is best used against blinged out mission runners.

Bounties aren't illegal, they just aren't recognized by Concord. Concord will come to the aid of a bountied player just the same as any other, provided they aren't flagged for sec status or criminal/suspect activity.
