JITA -- Amarr shuttle drop, nice screenshots :)

I normaly don't post stuff on fourms but, this was too cool to pass up.

At around 5:00 EVE time hundreds of Amarr capsuleer shuttles were dropped right outside Jita 4-4.
If anybody knows the clear concise story please do share Smile

but any wayyys..
I took some screen shots (26 in all)

these really do show off the beauty of eve (I like explosions and pretty lights Big smile )

the shuttles made the system grind down to a halt.
a GM came online and started shooting down all the shuttles from his POLARIS frigate
( hence all the explosions in the pictures Big smile )

It seemed to me, that more shuttles were being dropped as the GMs tried to obliterate them.
lots of salvagers were on scene aswell, until all the wrecks dissapeared.. (assuming GMs had something to do with this)

Whatever his name is Was angry about Orcas not being able to launch ships when under agression. SO he Droped all those Shuttles as a protest. HE wanted to be able to have Risk Free PVP.

I've shot at someone who was switching out ships from an Orca while under GCC before... bug?

IIRC: This is considered and exploit.


Shuttle bombing to induce lag or to create diversions for POS's so that they could get out of a POS disruption has been used by carrier pilots many times over.

hm... if CCP has decided that exploding ships do cause a disruption in the warp time continuum, how could possible feedback delays or a diruption to the controls to your pod be considered an exploit?! it must be there for a reason! Bear

also, there can be no exploits in eve based on game mechanics by definition. aything that might be considered an exploit still works as implemented by CCP - and that has always been by design. if you want an "exploit" fixed, force CCP to change the underlying game mechanics.
