ships disappears when i warp

yes, i've cleared cache. even reinstalled the game.

when i initiate the command to warp somewhere, my ship just disappears from the screen, then reappears when the warp tunnel goes away.

what the fux?

Figured out why it was doing it, and I solved the problem (for me anyways).

If you have an ATI video card. First exit the game. Then go to the Catalyst Control Center. In GAMING, then 3D Application Settings, go to SMOOTHVISION HD: Anti-Aliasing and check on USE APPLICATION SETTINGS and MORPHOLOGICAL FILTERING, and in the Catalyst A.I. Check on ENABLE SURFACE FORMAT OPTIMIZATION.

After doing this, my ship now appears when warping.
