First rule: The only way not to lose is not to play.

This message brought to you by Experience(tm). When common sense fails you, experience will come to the rescue. Experience(tm) from the makers of CONCORD.

Whenever you have to choose between EVE and your Wife, always, and I mean always, pick your (second) wife.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

I don't impose any particular rules on myself, although keeping a certain mindest is valuable. "It's just a game" is probably the best way I've seen it expressed. Oh, and anyone who states "Internet spaceships are serious business" and means it deserves to be teased without mercy.

"Log before you flog" might be a useful tip for some.

Never squeeze a carebear.... they're cuddly and oh-so-cute when they first open their eyes ... and they need constant cleaning...

Speaking of which, when does the NES / NeX or whatever the Hell it's called these days finally start stocking "Carebear wipes" ?

It's getting messy out there... P

1. Don't fly what you can't afford to lose
2. Don't trust anyone, even your alts
3. GF in local, or nothing. Never cry (anything other than GF).

This is so true! Nothing stings like the sense of betrayal you feel when an Alt stabs you in the back in what would have otherwise been a clean API check..

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

My first rule is: nobody tells me how I should play the game I pay for.

Games have rules, it's the very definition of the game. Rules tell you how have to play the game. If game engine won't allow you some activity because game designers don't think it's appropritate for their game - you won't be able to do it in most cases.

Are you new around here or you just totally missed my point on purpose? I meant all those who will tell you exactly why the way you spend your time playing game you pay for with your own money is wrong. Example: everything needs to be ISK/hr because otherwise it doesn't make sense to do it.

Rules of game set by designers and owner of game and whatever else are completely different thing and it's hard to say "do not fly what you cannot afford to lose" is in EULA or somewhere in code or you will get banned and persecuted by law for losing frakkton of ISK in a stupid way.

Don't worry about him...those T3 Large Deliberately Obtuse Shield Modules are rare...and the fields they generate are impenetrable. Don't waste the ammo.

Hmm. It's a toss up between:

"Have fun" and "Deal with it or GTFO"

P.S: They 're not mutually exclusive rules

Because Far-que... That's why.
