Ah, I see it now...

It's definitely not an evil blue penguin thing, with a white jacket. Cool, cool...

I'll need to experiment with this sometime... is it painfully slow?

No it's really fast. Just use any ASCII art generator online, then slap the Eve code to it.

The MOTD and related things you can paste color/formatting into (mail, bio) have a hard limit, You can attempt to override it to a very small extend, but anything past that and it throws it away and you lose the edits.

Be sparing! I originally wanted to have my full color logo, but it was way too huge in formatting/etc.
