Forgive my ignorance but I honestly never tried, unless I have my terms mixed up.

I see a bug about reprocessing gas give no result. And my only thought is.. wait, you can reprocess gas?!?!

I thought you could only react gas, or am I mistaken and people are reprocessing polymers.... what does reprocessing gas give me?

As I said, forgive my ignorance, but I am very confused.

In really simple terms.

You gas harvest the gas in wh space, Mix 2 types in a pos with a small amount of minerals and this turns in to polymers.

You use the polymers with sleeper salvage to make component parts for subsystems and t3 hulls.

right, I get that, which is reactions. So if that's all there is to it, that the gas reactions via the reactor array and silos do that, then why is there something about putting gas in a refiner and reprocessing it?

per this post: Known issues or am I missing something?

It's a tongue-in-cheek response. If you try to reprocess something that isn't supposed to be reprocessed, you get nothing out of it. That's working as intended. Don't do that unless you just like wasting gas.

I will say that t3 gas reacting is one of the most kludgy, unwieldy mechanics in the game, but that's a different argument for a different thread.

Ah ok got it, thanks, I was like 'wait I have been doing wormholes of and on since they came out, you an reprocess gas?!?! what?!?!" lol thanks

If you try to reprocess something that's not supposed to be reprocessed it shouldn't reprocess it. That's what happens if you put a skillbook or a datacore or other things like that in the reprocessor. They forgot to make gas have that flag, that's the known issue.
