I just never have gotten the whole "sit and watch someone else play" thing. I have several friends that watch people all the time, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

All I know is the moment I can afford to: I'm moving to where I can get Google Fiber. Anything Google can do to stay alive long enough for me to tap into that sweet sweet bandwidth is A-OK in my book.

The only time I had to sit and watch someone else play was when I was a teenager with my older cousin playing video games and I hated it and sort of resenting him for it. But because he was bigger than me I endured it. Why oh why would I do it in my free time now?

I like Twitch, i don't mind watching a few games of FIFA or checking out a game I dont own, before I go to buy it.
The fun parts of twitch are the interaction with strangers.



Plus the whole Twitch plays Pokemon... that was effing hilarious.

My thoughts exactly. Can't stand watching other people play games. If it is something like a walk through or a how to build this impressive thing in minecraft, then I will watch it. Otherwise, just watching someone run around monologing. keep waiting for the hero to jump in and foil his evil plan....

pretty much youtube live. they streamed the NEO II and FanFest stuff on twitch (possibly the NEO I and a few ATs at this point). Also I'm pretty sure I saw news about YouTube buying Twitch months ago.
