WTF is this BS with the drone avionics skill CCP?

Hi,

same Problem. I cannot use my Gallente Mission ships because of this.

Problem ist still present after todays downtime, i see "gm gift...." in my skill history.

i dont want to buy meta 3/3 items to this.......

Support ticked oppend.

I panicked because of this bug while I was doing a mission, which lead to the discovery of a workaround for Drone Link Augmentor II:
You have to online the module in space (needs 95%cap).

Soon I hope. I filed a ticket almost immediately after the patch and haven't heard anything. The patch this morning didn't help either.

lost drone avionics 5. it went down to 3 ...

maybe pumping out a patch every 6 weeks is not so great, when it means that we get a bunch of bugs now with every patch ...

Could be deemed an exploit. I'd suggest petitioning it.

I've lost Drone Avionics V on one of my characters, seems to be an extra SP discrepancy between the API and the client as well, around 150k SP missing even taking into account the DA ballsup.

Ticket raised

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

What happend :

Before Kronos there was

A) Combat drone operations ( was needed for the drone link agumentors)
B) Scout drone operations


With Kronos :

skill A was removed
Skill B was renamed to Drone Avionice and was made a requirement for drone link agument module.

two new skills were made : (boht were bumped upto the same level to with was higher skill A or skill B before Kronos
C) Light drone operations
D) Medium Drone operations

now with Crius patch 24-07

skill B was synced to the same level as was skill A before Kronos




What should have happend :

Combat drone operations renamed to Drone avionics and changed it to add range to drones.

Scout drone operations skill split up as light and medium drone skills, and change the skills to add damage to drones
...


or atleast some kind of notifications about changing it now ..

Ok, so the patch we had this morning. Was this to fix Drone Avionics? Guessing it wasn't.

I'm starting to get really frustrated "Do i need to train the skill again or not?"
I use a Drone boat (Gila) , so this is truly effected my game play.

EVEBoard ...Just over 60million skill points, each skill was chosen for a reason. I closed my eyes & clicked another skill to train... "BINGO...!!!" ... "This time i got something usefull"

Maybe they shouldn't release major changes to the codebase that have the chance to break important bits of said codebase while significant parts of the company that could fix the breakage are on summer holiday.

At least he has the decency to just walk away when proven wrong. I've seen more than one windowlicker here keep on trying, even after being dunked by a dev.

As soon as CCP announced it was making it so scout drone operation was the only skill needed to get everything to V due to the "you could fly it before you can fly it after" mantra,, the inconsistency with this not being applied also to the DLAII was flagged up. That must have been a month before the patch went live.

I was on all the related threads, and there was literally no response from CCP on the issue, they either missed it or simply ignored it.

After seeing how quick Greyscale has responded to feedback for a much more complex set of changes, it really highlights how poor CCP Fozzie and Rise have been on this issue.

why would CCP work over the weekend? they just released a big expansion that is full of bugs. they need to take some time off and celebrate the Crius expansion and CCP Seagulls promotion. Those are more important than fixing EVE or making sure their income source is happy.

So, I sent in a support ticket like they said to in this threat. Got a form letter back today that was exactly what was said in this thread, pretty much. Why even bother telling us to send in tickets if all it gets us is a form letter?

No, you are trying to rewrite history. A month before the patch went live DLA's on Sisi needed Light Drone Operation to use, not Drone Avionics. The Change of skill to drone avionics was a very last minute change. People were asking questions about it yes, but there was not a skill reallocation issue till a week before the patch went live. Which was when Sisi changed the skill over.
