Neither , I was attacked by a pirate with negative security standing in High Sec Empire space protected by faction guns at the gate.
I was jumping at a gate on Auto-pilot in my new Shiny S37 Prospect while I discussed about lag, afk.
I came back and my hull was at 50%.

I managed to Warp away with my 4 warp stabs although there was no scramble icon.

I put a bounty on him for record keeping + BH tracking.

I fixed my shiny with 180k and continued on my route (reached btw).

How is that a Pirate story? At least now with context the log makes sense. For future reference though, skip the log and just tell the story.

Dude that was not a pirate story, it was a carebear story... and not even a good one! Here is a pirate story... even one where the carebear gets away. I want to point out the emphasis on the word STORY.

Praxis Ginimic wrote:
This thread hasn't had much love lately but neither have I so the time is right for a new story. This story however, isn't full of yar and pieces of eight. This is a story of the darker side of our profession. One in which the sharks circle for hours without ever sinking their teeth into that shiny bottle-nosed b!tch's tear flavored flesh.

There will be no link to a faction fit failgu nor a half a Bil of bullet filled pod. There is a very special tengu pilot though. Not in the sense that Maverick had a special relationship with Goose either. More of a box of jumbo crayons and a bicycle helmet on the front seat of the school bus type of special. Although it wasn't immediately apparent.

The tengu was bouncing all over the system as he probed it out. We couldn't get a solid loc on him for more than 10 seconds so we all docked up except for our scout and tackle. Once npc wrecks started to show on D our scout sent in the probes & tackle followed them.

He was in a complex with gates. Damn those gates! They chased him through the site as we undocked and warped in. But then tackle landed in the third room just in time to watch him warp out. Safed up! He'll have his head on a swivel now. Surely its too late.

We had resigned ourselves to the loss and bantered about going to kill that cyno that just popped up when local flashes. The special tengu pilot made some sort of reference to the fact that our tackler would have a tough time handling that particular site in such a flimsy craft. Being a particularly chatty fellow he seizes the opportunity & strikes up friendly relations with the pilot. I wish I could post for you but it was a private convo. Our man Flynn relayed the good news over comms. He had convinced the tengu that he too was a wayward explorer & that they should run the site together. JACK POT!

I can't imagine a better trap but this is taking far too long. This dimwit should be dead by now but our man Flynn is having issues with testicular fortitude. He "feels bad" about bushwacking a pilot who's made a genuine attempt to reach out in such a treacherous environment. This will not do. I should've left for work 10 minutes ago.
I took matters into my own hands before it was too late and posted in local:

Praxis > can I bring my alts? <---Soft cuddly pirate (as to indicate that I am in fact the alt of the pilot he's been chatting up)

It was a bold move & if the tengu pilot had 2 brain cells to rub together it would have jeopardized the entire operation. Comms fell silent in anticipation

Special Tengu > if they can handle the heat ;) (with an emoticon, as to indicate that he didn't have two brain cells to rub together and truly deserved the fate about to befall him)

Comms burst into laughter as I "x" up and the gang follows suite

Praxis > x
Pirate 1 > x
Pirate 2 > x
Pirate 3 > x
Pirate 4 > x

I know it should seem rather suspicious that an explorer is roaming through low sec with his 5 alts in tow but our special friend didn't think it odd at all. Or at least he didn't say anything about it in fleet chat. There was no more time to waste. I was surely going to be late for work now and this deed had to be commenced post haste.

We fleet warped into the site and I log jammed right into optimal. I bumped the sorry fool with my thorax, scram, web, guns, drones. He was pulling away before the rest of the gang could get into range so I turned on the second web... and he intawarped... ...what... STABBED!!!

In the end it was my impatience that let him get away. If I had been willing to be just a few more minutes late to work and coordinate tackle with the entire gang his stab wouldn't have helped him. This pirates kids will go to bed without dinner again. Its not easy but it is a pirates' life for me.

And I am glad to say that I didn't take the time to read that story while my computer was lagged out to (Not Responding).
I don't know if I will have the time to read it later.

Let me add for now that I am not logged in to the EVE Online game client for now, so any attempts at making me (Not Responding) won't change my risk of getting directly blowed up.

(Even blowed up real good.)

+
I have to put the Log as suggested by CCP Spitfire, C C P, C C P Alliance, EVE Dev.
... can post chatlogs (with the names of victims/counterparts blanked out) as part of a pirate story or experience.

Granted , this was not the chatlog, but taken from the gamelog, with the only way to find how to put a Bounty on the attacker.

(I was recording a video which would have allowed me to see who it was, but that recording was also hacked.)

Edit:
I got the screenshots but probably no time to post them here now.

Sav forgot to mention the fiasco where the CEO tried to duel a Drake in his T3 Neut Legion.

We where milling about, doing warstuff, and a drake pilot was watching us in the oh so fun action and excitement of station camping, The CEO of the alliance, thought it would be funny to bump him around and try to harass the drake. The drake pilot took all in stride. The CEO then tried to bait the Drake by dropping a container in front of him. The Drake laughable managed to grab whatever loot from the container and warp off and dock up.

The CEO obviously annoyed at this point tried to dual the Drake, now during this point, we had not only ship scanned his fit down, showing a very heavy 500dps passive tank, but where talking to the Drake pilot about in local. So everyone knew the fit the drake was running. The CEO somehow was oblivious this, decided to send the dual invite to the drake.

Now the legion was a, Neut/Blaster...thing. And the DPS on it was so low, that the passive shield recharge was beating the Legions DPS. The CEO became confused.

CEO: Why is he still repping? I should have him neuted out by now?
Everyone else in TS: He's in a passive tank.
CEO: What does that matter? He should be neuted!
Everyone else,: PASSIVE tank, It doesn't run off of Cap.
CEO: What really?

Yes really, The CEO who was flying around in a T3 didn't understand what a passive tank was, nor did he hear us or read about the passive tank drake, whose fit was posted into two chats.

The CEO tried for 15 or 20mins trying to break the tank, fruitlessly as his dps was only 350, and the drake was pumping around 500DPS, Unfortunately the Drake ran out of ammo and wasn't able to break the tank of the Legion and the Legion wasn't able to break his natural tank. A Stalemate one would assume, pack up go home. Well this over....zealous CEO thought it would be a great idea to get his corp for help.

Basically demanding for assistance, he had us try a suicide gank, which failed, tried to switch ships with a higher dps ship, which fail. Eventually, he gave up and coincided to a very embarrassing fight. Wonderful, this is what we are dealing with. At the time we were wardec with another Highsec Wardeccing corp. The thought had crept into my mind to send them a message and have them come by and clean things up. But my hope for maybe a new alliance and new friends kept the action from happening.

Go ahead a few more days. we are sitting on a gate, and have a possible Tengu fight happening, while on gate, we explain to everyone to keep your speed up and try to out run the explosion velocity of the tengu, the CEO of course decided to chime in with another witless remark.

"What does it matter? We can't outrun the missile we'd have to be going over 2500ms."

Us, "No, the explosive velocity, you only need to be going like 200 to negate most of it,"

"What are you talking about, the missile is going 2500ms!"

Not only does he not understand passive tanks, but missiles and how they work as well. Rather sad for a CEO to try and run a grief alliance and not even understand basic PvP mechanics that anybody can pull from Eve-uni, or any other great websites that offer guilds.

Did you try letting him refit in space using an Orca? :) works like a champ

about a week and a half old now but ill shoot. ( No this is not just a simple low sec miner gank, read on )

So i log in and its a pretty average morning in my little .3, some nice ratting to loosen the muscles, a faction drop, 2 besieged sites down and i dock to make breakfast.

When i come back about Forty Five Minutes later there's a neutral i don't recognize in local, he has no color flag to mark him as a cyno, friendly, or an easy kill so i undock in my phobos to run a quick D-Scan of the immediate area around the station as the system is too large to run a full system scan without probes and its still too early for that

Low-and-behold there's a procurer on scan at the ice field so i dock to make sure i didn't spook him and i refit for dual plates over active reps just in case hes a cyno trap i haven't run into yet. I undock and hes still on scan, i warp in and land 36kms off of him, i hit the MWD but before i'm in range or even able to lock him hes gone back to station, my station as it were.
So i dock on his tail thinking i missed a miner kill no big deal, i go and make another coffee and come back to see hes undocked and still in local, there's another neutral though, also undocked. I undock again to see an ibis and a procurer on the undock, ibis is a cyno and i missed whatever had come in apparently but the procurer was just sitting there, i start bumping him and kill the cyno as i do, at this point im fitted active again and had just jump cloned back to my slave pod so the guns are tickling me at best.

But Just as they cyno dies the procurer suddenly jumps into action, like a white knight avenging a fallen friend he launched his Tech 1 warriors and went to work drilling my armor.... for like 14 damage a volley thanks to my hefty explosive / kinetic tank. Perhaps he didnt know what aggression mechanics were, or maybe he thought the combined fury of his drones and the incoming station guns were enough to kill me so he could go back to mining his ice. Fate had just the opposite in mind, i slowly chewed through his shield tank with my antimatter, volley after volley holding him there with my infinite point and a web. Suddenly his shields are failing him and im showing no sign of giving up, he reaches out to me

Me > If this is a let me live convo its 20m for the ship and you live to mine another day
Him > Really?
Me > Do i look like im kidding? Would I go through all this to play some little joke on you?
Him > Dude Im just an Ice Miner, let it go its not worth it
Me > let me put it this way, 20m or your an ex-iceminer
him > Okay ill pay

He makes a show of taking a while to get his wallet ready, meanwhile he pulls his drones and i have him in 30% structure. I notice his de-agression and bump him off the undock by about 2kms, not enough but the clock is ticking.

Me > Wheres that 20m? Im not a patient man
Him > Im getting it give me a second

He tries to hit his afterburner ( yep prop mod procurer ) and get back to station but i have him webbed, seeing this i take no more chances and kill the barge with a few more volleys. He tries to dock his pod but he has a few seconds left on the timer, i see this and pod him home to highsec and scoop the corpse, loot the wreck, and then dispose of it. I dock reload ammo and boosters and start ratting again.

Few hours go by and suddenly theres a familiar face in local, could it be the procurer i just killed?
It was

I reach out to him this time

Me > if you have assets in the station i can buy them if they are intereting or usefull, if not 50m and you can move them out
Him > oh thats not why im here
me > well thats a shame
Him > For you

he says nothing more, so i undock and see nothing at first, but before i can hit D-Scan a hurricane lands on the station about 70 off from where i am when i undock. He starts burning in, and yellow boxes me, im still blinking suspect from looting a wreck someone left in the belt with a clone soldier transporter tag in it, but my timer will end soon so i burn in and yellow box him too, he opens fire and rips through my untanked shields with his artillery, i get up close and land a scram in addition to my focused point and web, and start chewing through his tanked shields.

He launches drones and starts to hit me with those, im still alone and this is honorable solo PVP for the moment, but thinking fast i log on my alt eyes just to have an early alert system in case he had friends. He doesn't.
Slowly we drill at each others tank, both active tanked, my blasters clearly out performing his arty at 4k
he hits armor and starts to melt, but im greeted with an unfriendly noise, my cap had fallen below 20% and i had been overcycling my tank, Rookie error and it was going to cost me, i turned off the rep and ran my last booster and hoped it would last. he hit structure, i hit 20% armor he reached out to me again

Him > What is this nonsense i cant warp
Me > yeah i have you tackled
Him > im stabbed i should be fine

Im speechless at this point, he hits low structure and my hull breach alarm goes off
A corp member of mine logs in, hes a good pilot and has a HAC in station
I tell him i may need some help if this goes any worse for me thanks to my rookie mistake
He laughs at it and hops on comms
Just as he does the cane explodes and the pod warps, im in 70% structure and my heart is pounding, most fun i had solo all week

i loot the wreck, my corpie scoops his drones, and as i drop the loot im greeted by 2 things
1. I had Non-Navy Cap boosters in hold, so they didnt auto load, i feel like an idiot
2. a hilarious killmail the cane was fitted with these:

http://gyazo.com/36d47785f34e61efebdd75abe1e64620

( Links a bit blurry as i didnt want to share the pilots name )
He also had every type of ammo imaginable in cargo, and tons of interesting mods
A fail fit ratting cane perhaps?
All I know is the miner uprising was over and he was gone from my .3
for good

This was my first safari, and even though it didn't really go as well as I hoped, it was the most fun I've had since I started playing EVE. Shout out to Psychotic Monk and Subject 4927, who's blogs gave me the confidence to finally get into pirating, and the BU community for helping me out with advice and tactics that helped me secure some kills I may not have otherwise gotten.

I found the Local Co. advertising in the Recruitment channel very poorly - simply looking for miners to a description-less corp. I managed to find one of their new recruits mining in a venture, and after a bit of chatter I applied to the corp and had him recommend me for approval.

Following a seemingly thorough interview with the CEO, in which he failed to notice a few eve mails detailing my pre-eminent intentions or the fact that more than half of his corp was in my contacts list already marked (Something I won’t make the mistake of doing next time…) he let me into the corp.

The next few days I didn’t see many corpies. One night an Orca pilot and a relatively inexperienced miner logged in, and I began to chat them up to see if we could start a mining op. The Orca pilot was only on for a few minutes to update his skill queue, but at least I was able to get him to link me his fittings before he left. The other miner proceeded to fly to null-sec, for some solo-mining in a Skiff or Procurer or something, and about 10 minutes later had his pod popped. Apparently he hadn’t updated his clone in a while so he also ended up losing the SPs needed to fly an exhumer. He logged off shortly after.

After missing several opportunities for some decent kills and drops, I decided to just try and blow up as many barges as possible in a small mining op. I managed to jump ontop of a Procurer, and beat it up quicker than I expected, while scrambling a nearby Skiff. While I was chewing on the tanky Skiff, the Procurer pilot came back in a Celestis and managed to run me off, saving his friend.

Skiff> ???
Procurer> wtf?
Skiff > stop it
Procurer > that wasnt me
Skiff > It's toxic
Skiff > STOP
Skiff > Hey, STOP IT
Toxic Yaken > I might run out of ammo before that...
Skiff > I don't have isk for another ship
Procurer > wtf you blew up my covetor?!?
Toxic Yaken > You really shouldn't fly what you can't replace.
Skiff > you shouldn't be attacking your own corp mates
Procurer > you better explain yourself before i put a 200mil bounty on your ass
Skiff > stop attacking..
Toxic Yaken > I'll let you go if I can have 200 mil iskies, since Nathan's apparently got some to spare...
Toxic Yaken > Otherwise 200 mil bounty and killmail is fine
Toxic Yaken > You've got a few minutes left till he blows up..
Procurer > ran off like a wuss?
Skiff > couldn't say i didn't warn him
Procurer > my cruiser would have owned his ass, toxic your a dead man
Toxic Yaken > So far I'm 1-0 ;)

I decided to lay low while the Procurer pilot flew around in his cruiser challenging me to fight like a man, when a new target appeared. The pilot apparently didn't feel like checking corp chat because after the Procurer sent out a warning he decided to autopilot to our system in his Miasmos.

Toxic Yaken > So where you guys hiding?
Miasmos > I had to run to Amarr agian...
Miasmos > u?
Toxic Yaken > Wuos
Toxic Yaken > So you just focusing on hauling? Or you just moving select stuff?
Miasmos > Im mining
Miasmos > just need to be able to move too

I was pretty shocked that he didn't just scroll up and read the warning messages, but instead got blown up a half kilometre from station, and lost his pod too. At this point I took a break for lunch and when I checked my computer it had frozen, and I had to relog. I came back just in time for the CEO and another member to come online and avoid being kicked from corp. I knew the CEO had some beefy friends so the end was near, but I saw the newest member was undocked only a few jumps away so I decided to run for it and see if I could snag him - I found him in the first belt by complete luck, and managed to tackle and kill his Skiff despite of some serious lag on my end.

Toxic Yaken > Oh dang this lag.
Toxic Yaken > Am I winning?
Miasmos > The "cool kid" award, yeha you got that wrapped up
Toxic Yaken > You'd think you guys would be on higher alert than this.
Toxic Yaken > You know I can see if you are undocked on map and which system right?
Miasmos > Takes a real man to pod someone during docking
Toxic Yaken > Takes a real fool to ignore corp chat and autopilot into an awoxer :P

I would've liked a little something for a parting gift, but I know the CEO has deep pockets and will probably just replace any losses I caused; but I had my fun.

The tears were real though my trolling was pretty poor. The few gems I kept:

Miasmos > I'd imagine that a 13 year old like you has a hard time figuring out what to do with your life. Tip: become a man by being a decent human being and not greifing people for what, in reality. is jack ****.
Miasmos > You reflect on your life in private and realize it's of no substance
Toxic Yaken > I really am impressed with your pyschological analysis of my life, I really am.
Miasmos > Probably work in some mundane job, as house cleaner or something.
Toxic Yaken > Just continue being mad about losing your spaceboat :)
Miasmos > Hell maybe even a clerck at your local dairy queen
Toxic Yaken > ****, you got me bro
Miasmos > and I'm not mad about my space boat

Miasmos > I'm not a PvPer
Toxic Yaken > Oh right
Miasmos> of course neither are you
Toxic Yaken > Well it's a PvP game
Miasmos > uh, no it's not
Miasmos > pvp is a part of the game
Toxic Yaken > So it's a PvP game

I'm glad that I finally started my pirate life. Pirate

Hi guys normaly I do not tell storys but this one needs to be told.
Its not really about the tears but about the setup of a really good trap and I worked him an hour of a convo.

In advance excuse my bad english.

In the early hours of the EU timezone my corpmates managed to kill a raven.
I came online 1 hour after the kill actually happend and they told me that this guy was trying to protect a miasmos and agressed my suspect mate in front of the station at 100 km with his raven. Well the sleipnir was faster than expected and an other corp mate was close at him and it popped fairly fast. Raven + Pod

After I heard the story I thought "Ok lets go check if I can get some tears or make his eve day even a bit more misarable"

Convo Open:

Ravenguy > hi
Ravenguy > o/
Noir Ruda > I saw you lost a ship to my corpmates
Noir Ruda > what happend?
Ravenguy > I didnt keep range lol
Ravenguy > I havent played for a few months and thought i was better than i am
Noir Ruda > ah ok
Noir Ruda > sry for your loss then
Ravenguy > no worries all part of the game
Noir Ruda > normaly we only attack people who are attacking us so I heard "MY Wingman" this guy agressed you first?
Ravenguy > i got my first solo pvp kill earlier and thought i could get some more but it wasnt meant to be
Ravenguy > yes i did she attacked a pilot that is joining our corp
Ravenguy > the pilot was flying a miasmo
Noir Ruda > well sometimes you can't control all the guys in corp you know
Ravenguy > true
Noir Ruda > so what you doin in "the system"?
Ravenguy > its my corps home
Ravenguy > was just ratting
Noir Ruda > really you corps home never saw you guys here are you US time zone?
Ravenguy > no im au tz, but havent been on in 3 months
Noir Ruda > ah ok cool we are living here too
Ravenguy > ok
Noir Ruda > so thats why I am suprised cause I never saw your corp here
Ravenguy > are you looking for an alliance ???
Noir Ruda > we are already in one :)
Ravenguy > I have'nt been on for months but i think its still our home lol, all good
Noir Ruda > as said I never saw your corp here
Noir Ruda > I think they moved elsewhere
Ravenguy > maybe "some system close by" i heard thats where our mining ops are now, but corp mates are pretty spread out and not on much
Ravenguy > only 3 on now
Ravenguy > are you trying to politely tell me to **** off ???
Noir Ruda > nah
Noir Ruda > I am not that polite
Ravenguy > lol
Noir Ruda > Just want to have a talk
Ravenguy > cool
Ravenguy > i'm out near rens now ice mining
Noir Ruda > care lots of highsec gankers around these days
Noir Ruda > espically for ice miners
Noir Ruda > hope u using a well tanked ship
Ravenguy > i got goood tank
Ravenguy > procurer

at this point since he wasn't a douche I nearly let him off the hook but the next sentence got me in again.

Ravenguy > got 2 pilots on 2 acounts too, 1 has a carrier

Hey my wallet said lets do this.
I really lied a lot in this convo.

Ravenguy > i nearly dropped it earlier on your friends
Noir Ruda > oh hard they would have died to that
Ravenguy > thats what i was hoping but only just got it so was a bit chicken
Ravenguy > lost enough isk today lol
Noir Ruda > well you could do lvl 5 missions here they are really good isk
Noir Ruda > 100k lp per mission :P
Ravenguy > nice but in "system close by" there are hot droppers
Ravenguy > been hit before
Noir Ruda > ah you mean the "some major block" guy?
Ravenguy > "dude I don't know" and his alt "do not know either"
Noir Ruda > never heard of them
Noir Ruda > since other guys in this pocket showed up
Noir Ruda > "some actual hotdroppers" just counter drops them or "some major block"
Noir Ruda > so the moved
Ravenguy > "his carrier pilot" is my carrier pilot, i only just got him friday
Ravenguy > like i said i havent been on in awhile will take some time to get up to speed
Noir Ruda > so what for carrier u usin?
Noir Ruda > thanatos
Noir Ruda > its good for repping
Noir Ruda > ehm
Noir Ruda > ratting
Noir Ruda > and doin lvl V
Ravenguy > its a thanatos, its in "the system" i jumped it in friday arvo
Ravenguy > i rat in a proteus normally
Ravenguy > he has good rep with sisters of eve but havent looked for missions yet
Ravenguy > now you guys are in "the system" i will have to be careful
Noir Ruda > nah we are friendly
Noir Ruda > we just do not like strangers
Ravenguy > I been in "the system" for nearly a year
Ravenguy > we dont like them either
Ravenguy > how active is your corp and what tz are you mainly?
Noir Ruda > we are eu timezone mainly
Noir Ruda > and we have some guys around
Noir Ruda > but building on our us time zone too
Ravenguy > cool, i was surprised friday arvo au time i was only 1 in "the system" and "other system"
Ravenguy > does your corp mine in "the system" or just pvp?
Noir Ruda > we have sort of miners
Noir Ruda > but not in this corp
Noir Ruda > since people do not like us we are in constant war
Noir Ruda > we are helping sometimes people in highsec not getting ganked

I think I overdid it with the last post.

Ravenguy > mining is boring as all **** but better than buying everything, what system do you help people??
Noir Ruda > on the trade routes
Ravenguy > out near rens there are wankers making newbies pay 1mill isk a day for mining permits or they bump them out of belts
Ravenguy > its not good for the game
Noir Ruda > thats why we choose not to live in highsec
Noir Ruda > lowsec is much more safe right now

Ravenguy > i dont normally either but had no back-up
Ravenguy > it is
Ravenguy > "the system" is pretty good most of the time
Noir Ruda > yeah
Noir Ruda > most of the time
Ravenguy > lol yeah i lost a few ships dropping poses or defending them
Ravenguy > thats why i got the thanatos
Noir Ruda > ah ok
Noir Ruda > in this early morning "the system" is pretty silent
Ravenguy > we normally have 2 posses in "the system" but our corp ceo is on deployment in us mil so they are packed up
Noir Ruda > perfect time to run lvl V
Noir Ruda > with carrier :)
Ravenguy > lol you want me to get out the carrier dont you?
Noir Ruda > if you want to you could join us
Ravenguy > pilot is 25 jumps qwqy but have jc in "the system" adn "other system"
Noir Ruda > its going faster that way
Ravenguy > *away
Ravenguy > I dont know smells like a trap to me

Ok was it to early? I need to do something that he jumps in again. Give him some tips? Warn him of a made up threat? He already locked in his carrier alt in the system so he is thinking about it. Ok lets aproach again a bit more slowly....

Noir Ruda > well if you don't want too its up to u to decide
Ravenguy > maybe nextime
Noir Ruda > we could also blue each other
Noir Ruda > if you really living in "the system"
Ravenguy > true
Noir Ruda > I really do not want people attacking each other in this system
Ravenguy > me either
Noir Ruda > but with you we could easly do them that would be 3 carrier then and with cap and rep chain they would be easy as ****
Ravenguy > I cant remote rep or cap transfer, only self rep
Ravenguy > need to train more skills
Noir Ruda > yeah you probably need but can u use sentrys?
Ravenguy > yes but onlu tech 1 and fighters
Noir Ruda > sentrys are the best thing to do that
Noir Ruda > fighters need a lot of time to travel
Ravenguy > i have sentry 5 in queue already but 16 days away
Noir Ruda > well as said offer is up if you want to do that local is complete blue atm
Noir Ruda > and neibhour system is pretty empty too right now
Ravenguy > except me
Noir Ruda > well thats something we can handle pretty easy

Here comes the made up threat..

Noir Ruda > "random guy I don't know" becareful of him they tend to drop

the alliance this guy in really does drop sometimes

Noir Ruda > we are not blue to them
Ravenguy > we arent either and have had dramas before

the next part is made up from scratch
and in the meantime we got ready to kill a carrier and set up some modules like neut batterys and scrambler at a tower.

Noir Ruda > yeah we tend to try counter drop them
Noir Ruda > dock you carrier dude
Ravenguy > it is
Noir Ruda > ah ok
Noir Ruda > its "some other guy I do know" then
Noir Ruda > he is running lvl V too
Ravenguy > he used to be "some corp" which we used to have an alliance with
Noir Ruda > "the guy I know"
Ravenguy > but only found out today it is no longer
Ravenguy > dont know "the guy I know"
Noir Ruda > you mean the random guy I do now know"
Noir Ruda > ?
Noir Ruda > as said we have some beef with "alliance of the random guy"
Ravenguy > yes he was "some corp", part of "an alliance"
Ravenguy > "random guys alt" ex "an alliance"
Noir Ruda > seems they out for blood right now
Ravenguy > not sure why, dont know what happened to "an allaince" but they are mostly eu tz
Ravenguy > they have dreads
Noir Ruda > we know
Ravenguy > oh did they get you with them?
Noir Ruda > nah
Ravenguy > good
Noir Ruda > we are very carefully with that
Ravenguy > us too
Noir Ruda > always aligned
Noir Ruda > they doin lvl V right now
Noir Ruda > they running lvl V too right now
Ravenguy > what in?
Noir Ruda > carrier
Ravenguy > nice
Noir Ruda > they jumped out
Noir Ruda > huray
Ravenguy > cool lol

At this point while typing the next sentence I had a bit of inner moral fight with my self he wasn't really a douche, but then my corpmate gave me a virtual slap in the face and I came to my senses. Though I felt a bit bad about him at least a tiny bit.

Noir Ruda > so u wanna join?
Ravenguy > I'll give it a try with "his carrier alt"

Ok he is in lets do this following the fleet chat:

my wingman > o/
my wingman > sry about earlier
his carrier alt > all good, i did attack first
Noir Ruda > hopefully u are fitted correctly
Noir Ruda > you have sentrys with you a
Noir Ruda > and a proper tank?
Noir Ruda > and don't do triage that will probably be hardcore
Noir Ruda > and you can't run if someone shows up
his carrier alt - C -
his carrier alt > no triage
his carrier alt > but self rep
my wingman > we have rr on our carriers
his carrier alt > cool
my wingman invite Mercairi Maiestas for the warpin on the mission
my wingman > ok hes in the mission
my wingman > you can warp to him
his carrier alt > going now
my wingman > be sure to focus the energy neut batteries first
his carrier alt > ok
my wingman > then small drones on the frigs
his carrier alt > ok
my wingman > we need to kill the scramblers quick
his carrier alt > ok
his carrier alt > really???
Noir Ruda > sry dude don't trust anyone
Noir Ruda > :)
Noir Ruda > we do that for a living
my wingman > sry m8
his carrier alt > lesson learned
Noir Ruda > but thx for the loot never trust pirates :)
his carrier alt > at least now i know where your pos is and your eu tz

The carrier died and we got around 500 mil in est. loot. Carrier

Ok I can't live with my shame because this was a D-move.....Ok I probably can and kudos to the our victim who took this without bringing tears.

After reading about 20 pages or so of these, im wondering how in the world do you kill a BS with frig or a cruiser? People flying them that Stupid or? I asked my corpmate once to shoot at my cruiser with a BS to see the dmg, with 1 shot he took out half of my shield(sure my crus was armor tanked but so was his BS and when i took a shot at his shield it barelly scratched the paint).

It depends on the battleship and it's guns. I'll use a quick example as this question is better suited to the warfare and tactics forum. Let's say you find a tempest, and when you zoom in on him, you recognize the barrels of his guns as artillery. Artillery is a long range weapon and doesn't do so well up close, it also shoots slowly. If you fly straight towards him or are not moving he'll hit you for sure, and hard. If you fly towards him at an angle though, your transversal will be higher, and if you get that high enough, his guns will miss. The closer you get to him the worse this gets for him. Once you get right up in his face, keep flying around him as fast as you can, which usually means staying between 2000 and 5000 meters, up to 10km in some cases. If you manage that, he will never hit you for full damage and you may be able to 'speed tank' him forever, which gives you plenty of time to slowly chip away at him. If he is active fit and can run his tank indefinitely, you may reach a stalemate and the first guy to bring reinforcements will win. That's just the short answer though, there is a lot more at play. (Webs, drones, neuts, tracking disruptors, etc)

The highest compliment you can receive in a game is being reported for cheating when you did not. Well done sir.

i haven't posted here yet, must remedy this.

Tengu of Bable

Now the npc had one language and a common speech . As he moved eastward, he found a plain in Oursulaert and settled there.

He said to himself , “Come, let’s make Cruiser and Bling fit it thoroughly.” He used Pithum A-Type and story items instead of Tec 2, and Faction for High meta. Then he said, “Come, let me build myself a Blingu, with a paper stats that reaches to the heavens, so that i may make a name for myself; otherwise i will be scattered over the face of the whole Neweden.”

But the Dark Lord came down to see the npc and the Cruiser and Bling the carebear was building. The Dark Lord said, “LOL, tengu giving me the carebear stare. Come, let us go down and Shinaniganise this derpy arse.”

So the Dark Lord scattered him from there....by duel request....and neuts

actually really not dramatic at all but its a story,
warp in suspect and he yellow boxed me,
nothing to steal so i bumped him for a while,
nothing,
duel..........lol ,point, neut, it was over quicky.

I shall spend billions on modules, but I think I'll stick with T1 rigs, cause damn those T2 rigs are expensive. (or some other excuse)
Your first version of the story is better. Blink
