Invites to ex players for PLEX

With the release of Crucible and the sense Eve is returning to its roots (spaceships) as well as the many fixes that Crucible itself contained, I suggest now is the time for CCP to hold a promotion aimed at getting the many Eve deserters to return.

I would suggest that having something like:

Send an invite to friends who have stopped playing Eve in the last 18 months (sic). For every 3 friends that resub (via plex cc gtc) and link your invite you get a single plex from CCP.

I'm not convinced on the numbers nor the logistics but that is why I'm throwing open for discussion by greater minds than mine.

CCP regularly does return-dealio's to unsubbed accounts, my gmail for game accounts is absolutely littered with them, 3.99$ for first month back etc.

I also know two other friends that get these all the time.

CCP actively does this (and is pretty good about making the deals good enough to re-upp and get sucked back in.)

If you are suggesting something like the above, then it is already done. If you are suggesting incentivizing players to bring back old friends - i'd be interested in that too and to my knowledge it's something ccp hasn't partaken in yet.

While its not a bad idea, using plex as a incentive is horrible Not from a players standpoint mind you, but from legitimizing CCPs bullshit when it came to introducing NeX. Since NeX was partially created as a Plex sink since it was a liability to the company. Yet they keep seeding Plexes as promotions which is a contradiction.

Don't want any of them back. Let them stay right where ever they are.
