By "run in terminal" i get this:

then i have to close it manually.

any suggestions?

How about telling us if it starts while displaying the exception or not?

It seems to me that you either use an outdated version of wine or have no 3D acceleration.

sorry. it doesn't start. i've a complete 3d acceleration, checked, and i've the last wine version (1.3.x)

Try launching the Eve-exe.exe in /bin folder. Solved problem with getting passed the splash screen for me. Although game crashes when loading character in hangar, trying to solve it.
