What was this talk about the yields being increased to balance out the increased loss from refining?

I didn't have max skills in everything, but I had enough to refine ore with 0% loss in a station. A like for like comparison of X amount of ore being refined before and after the patch in the same station with the same skills results in about a 20% drop in mineral yield for me Question I'm not talking about the % loss I'm talking about an actual drop in the number of minerals returned after refining

I'm also noticing weird changes in the mineral yields of the different qualities of ore. Low and middle grade ores are closer in yield than before?

Yes, it was decided, that you can have the equivalent of 100% before patch only with perfect skills AND the implant.
(maybe we should reduce armor of all ships by 33% because of the slave set)

And someone in a outpost gets ~120% :)

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise

I keep seeing post of how Hi-sec miners have been screwed with this patch. I find for my self a hi-sec miner for 11 months this patch to be great. I moved my reprossesing operation and manufacturing to my own station and my returns are at a all time high . I was afraid my small manufacturing business was in jeperdy but I have found I will thrive and make a mint in Hi-sec with this new set up . My advise get your own station and make your loot if you rely on the NCP stations to make ya loot good luck to you gonna be tough. build 1 caldari shuttle at NCP station 748 isk at my own station 212 ISK and I am grinding all my ore at 100% at my station to boot getting more minerals per load. I don't make many posts but figured I would weigh in here .

Your station?? You mean you have your own POS or outpost?? Ive read that the only way to actually now get refining at 90% in Eve is to have a dedicated refining outpost. A small refining array in a POS gives 4% bonus, a Large one gives only 8%, so how you getting 100%???

Yes I have my own POS thats what I have been saving for since I started this game 11 months agao. Ok so maybe it aint 100% but a hell of a lot better than I ever had . I will restate Get your own POS its the best way if your like me small time miner/manufacturer.

4% bonus, isnt bad, but you lose a lot in fueling don't you? Unless you have large array in losec, thats still only 8%, and with the fuel costs being quite high, don't think its worth it to be honest :/

Close enough to not make any appreciable difference.

Is that for a refining outpost or pos? If for pos, does that mean a refining outpost gives 120% yield??? (Maths is not my strong point What?)
