One final thing, you need to remove Splinter3000 and Blade1975 from Hub-Zero channel, he was telling MrGronk all manner of stuff and this morning he knew very quickly that Serenity was heading to S91-T1.

WOW. Now Check Mate is in this Soap Opera??!! I can not believe Dracvlad would even make this type of accusation. Since he did, I will speak for MYSELF and RedneckWarrior when I say this. I am done with Hub-Zero. My standings with each of you out here in Stain WILL remain blue, unless of course any of you decide to aggress me OR anyone in our corp. IF any of you need help, I will, as I have done in the past, help IF I can. All you need to do is private message me or RedneckWarrior. As for this accusation that Dracvlad made, splinter3000 OR BLADE1975, does NOT need to give intel on where someone is, especially to Mr Gronk and his alts. He has characters in all the systems in this area, and can see for himself WHERE any of us are when traveling up or down the pipe. SO, for this accusation and past problems, I am leaving the Hub-Zero Channels. I WILL have NO part of the Hub-Zero idea or what ever it may be called. Like I stated in this post, I WILL help any of you IF you need help. You just have to private message me or yell in local. As before, I am not setting ANY of you to red.

P.S.
I did enjoy being in the channels for the most part. But, I HATE Soap Operas and will be NO Part of one.
Have Fun all and FLY SAFE :)

This is something that had us very concerned as a lot of what was happening was being reported to MrGronk, in fact we knew that Splinter had been in Estro, we also knew that he was talking to MrGronk, and he was also very annoyed with Aaron. I could accept that Splinter did not help in that attempt on Serenity this morning, but once you start talking freely like that to someone who is aggressively camping then you have to accept people being suspicious. Now I don't care if you are upset or not, but I have a major question mark on Splinter and that is not a soap opera or any other thing you might want to call it,, I do not trust him, period.

Drac, please stop. You were so busy pointing out my flaws you forgot to look at your own. This is exactly the thing that contributed to the Hub loosing people and here you are still making people leave with your drama.

Splinter has told me many times he chats with Mr Gronk and I have no problem with it. You and Tev are always talking like I am the one trying to control people when that's not the case, at least my talking is about keeping people safe and attempting to limit loss, not drama. It's you and Tev who are trying to control people with your ridiculous drama.

Leave this alone now please Drac. and keep the drama to your circle of friends.

To me the situation is that Hub-Zero has drifted away from it's original concept. What started as a loose coalition of independent corporations operating around a shared market hub, became more centralised and autocratic than that which was originally intended. Putting aside all of the minor details, this overarching change in the concept is what has led to the tensions among some of the member corps.

I think Aaron was not totally clear and wavered on the concept which he had originally set out for hub-zero, as to me it seems a more traditional corporation alliance type structure would have suited what he ended up wanting, rather than a loose confederation of corporations.

I have spoken to Aaron about this privately, and I wish him much success in his future endeavours to get hub-zero to where he now wants to take it. He is driven and passionate about Hub-Zero, and I can see he will never give it up.

For these reasons I will be reluctantly removing Cy-Core and it's allied corporations from Hub-Zero, and will form a loose confederation of corporations for those who still wish to operate independently in Stain.

Luckily everyone who has left hub-zero thus far, have mostly left on good terms, and everyone is still happy to be blue to one another. Cy-Core will be no different in that regard. No standings will be reset, and everyone will remain blue to us.

You really think that I hatched up some sort of plot with Tev with who I only spoke to when he was upset by you, you really are searching for anyone you can blame for your own failure. Yes you can blame me for Colh3arted leaving and I apologise for that, but when I was leader of Hub Zero we did not lose a single person to drama, so if you want to think that I have an issue with drama then keep kidding yourself, the drama only started when you started throwing your weight around.

In terms of the leak of information, it got more evident after Splinter3000 and you fell out, that may of course be a co-incidence, but then again it may not, I for one was very careful around him and made a decision not to move any carriers or JF's around him, when I was asked to pickup some mission stuff of 40k m3 from 0G to 6Y I was very suspicious and said I would do it in a transport ship. So before you go any further remember how you once lost a carrier, you may have taken that as some sort of plot to screw you up but I was actually concerned that you would have a problem with Splinter3000.

You might note in my reply to Coldh3arted that I pointed out that I am not in Hub Zero anymore and was just advising you of my concerns, so if he cannot work out that it was me and I am not in Hub-Zero any more and he is leaving because of me then its not a very bright thing to do is it.

As for the circle of friends comment, you obviously think that I am actively trying to stick the knife in and get your members, well sorry to disappoint but I don't want Splinter3000 anywhere near me, furthermore people have asked me to join them when I was quite happy to go and play in hisec, with some diversions to go after someone on a very personal level, something I have never done in this game before, I am presently debating whether to do that or not.

You have a large number of people in your blue list, all you have lost is the more active ones who were around your PvP activities, you can still do this.

Anyway good luck.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

As your friend Drac I must say you do have a tendency for drama and others have pointed that out in this very thread.

And responding to Moac, this is a difficult task. and yes the goal is to operate loosely as you said. I was in no way trying to manage anyone's corp from top to bottom it was a simple case of me trying to show you some survival tactics to add to your skillset.

You are confusing 2 people it was coldhearted not splinter who asked you to move the stuff for a mission, I know he did lots of missions at the time and you do get the odd one where you have to move stuff,. the request was genuine.

I have forgiven you for bringing the drama here, you say that you don't want to make anyone else leave but your texts show otherwise.

Even with Tev, why bring the drama here? I think both of you are bent on showing people a side to me that does not exist, you both claimed that I try to demand peoples respect which is not accurate. My perception is both of your listening skills are bad or could it just be me alone you don't listen to?

People are down here at my invitation and if they don't want to listen to the host shouldn't it just be a case of withdrawing similar to the way Moac withdrew? He was polite and just showed me the respect you would normally extend to an associate. that is the only respect I have ever asked for.

Some people just take a ship and head off to syndicate , throw up a market there to get their income running and make friends. One month later they have made a big group of friends who work together on multiple levels. That would be a large part of the npc nullsec inhabitants.

Now other people need to make 43 pages of words about how they do the exact same while offfcourse in their mind it is totalllllllly different from the above -cough cough- and after 6 months have not evolved much further then the guys in the first example. That would be aaron.

Whatever floats your boat eh.

The number of people recruited and retained because of this thread was minimal, the thread ended up being a way to push agenda's and add to the political infighting that occurred, I was never in favour of this thread feeling that it would turn out like the previous one, and because it is here you have no choice but to tell your story. The majority of people were recruited from people operating in the area, not from this thread, this thread was in fact a major turn off.

When I came to the 6Y area prior to starting this, I found a group of NCDOT and PL linked characters operating in the area, I also thought they would be a big problem, at that time -DD- was in Stain and was running around with BLOPS, but not very effectually, when the Russians moved out to Sov space the NCDOT group also took a break and most moved to RRWI-5, the PL group moved out and that enabled us to start developing without any stresses apart from self-inflicted ones via this thread and differences in terms of structure, which is at the heart of the differences between me and Aaron and ultimately between him and Moac.

The 6Y area was selected because it had a minimal chance of PvP, we knew that a loose knit group would take a long time to develop and so it proved, however after a certain amount of time a NCDOT player with multiple accounts decided to start playing again and decided to farm Hub Zero, he organised with friends and their accounts and he saturated the area with cloaky ships with a capacity behind them that made it difficult to operate, that player is very good at it, but it is the type of combat that is destroying Eve, ganking of PvE boats and only fighting if they could attack with no risk of loss, This coincided with the defeat of the Russian block that returned to Stain, but thankfully the main PvP'rs went into the Curse area in an alliance called the Afterlife, so the pressure there did not reach the 6Y pocket, apart from a few inept roamers who were easy to kill.

Due to the continuous cloaky camping which was enhanced with the deployment of the main NCDOT block nearby, people started to move to the F9 area, this resulted in us rubbing up against a couple of other groups around there iocluding some effective Russians which our loose group were unable to deal with and lost a number of fights.

In effect ignoring the drama in the thread the concept was very effective in creating blues and people working together in some areas, but was slow to develop a capable military side, one part of this was not developing a core group within the alliance which we added too late. Also the benefit of intel from cloaky explorers doing sites was never realised.

Stepping away from the drama that occurred here, I would suggest that the concept was a success in that it did actually operate and grow, however we did not manage to create a functioning market in the time we were there and our PvP group was not effective.

The NCDOT player told me that we collapsed in the 6Y area very quickly, I replied that he started his campaign too soon, this is one of the problems of Eve, too many powerful entities desperately looking for anything to kill, nothing new can grow or develop to reach critical mass, before you can do anything you end up under a level of stress that you cannot deal with.

CCP have now increased the fuel costs of jump capable ships by 50%, this meant that at a personal level I could no longer economically keep the JF running, it was three jumps and a round trip was now at the a cost of 150m, this was also applied to carriers, as a result I had already decided to pull down my two small moon mining towers as my own capital came under pressure from trying to keep the market supplied, to buying a couple of key ships to add capability before this change, this meant that I could not buy a full load of fuel and was forced to make more jumps, costing me more and becoming uneconomic. Adding to the issues was a couple of close calls with people hunting my JF.

There are still a lot of people blued up together within Hub-Zero, thise is a classic loose group that will do what they want, if played properly they could exist quite well under the radar so to speak, but get rid of this thread and be realistic in what you can and cannot do.

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.
