POS Lab bug?

I recently cancelled a few copy jobs at my research POS and was surprised to find that even a few hours later after relogging, the slots were still showing as occupied for the remaining time of those copy jobs (despite me having the blueprints back).

Is this a new bug (or existing feature CCP can't be bothered to fix) ? Cheers.

Doesn't it say when you cancel it that it won't free up the slot?

You know, I might sound stupid, but I never read what it said but if that is the case it is very counter intuitive! Blink

Working as intended. It's so you can't "reserve" a slot with a stupidly cheap BPO (say a shuttle or ammo), install your new shiny tier3 BC into that slot, and then cancel the ammo for instant slot access.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Yeah, the slots remain in use till the job would have finished.

The only way to clear them before this.... Cancel all jobs, remove all items, unanchor and re-anchor the lab.

This is fine for Public research slot but tell me why the logic still works this way for a Corp POS? Other than the fact that CCP is to lazy to write code so a Corp POS works differently.

As I mentioned in another thread they had no problem changing the way Customs Offices worked as I Now pay another corp taxes to use thier PCO. They will only change things if it causes conflict.
