Id like a new skill / mod, or even in station refineing system that would give you a small chance like 25% at level 5 to retrieve a single hard wiring or implant from a frozen corpse.

This has prob been suggested before or something similar, but after a long break from the game i noticed that kill mails now track implants lost so shouldn't be that hard to implement. Granted it would have a effect on implant sales as some would be getting recovered but i like the idea.

The salvaging module could be a low slot "post mortem surgical facility" :D

First: it was suggested before

Second: proper place to post such things is F&I forum

Third: allow us to exchange corpses for cheaper clones kind of like we can exchange tags for sec status (nothing drastic, maybe 5% of current cost or sth like that). This way implants market wouldn't be affected but corpses would become real commodity. Navies could even confiscate transported bodies so we could have a little "black market" RP to play with.

That's honestly something I'd like to see. The ability to get something from your defeated enemy's very corpse would be extremely appealing to any PVP pilot.

Even a tiny chance (say, 1%-10%) would be sufficient to motivate even the most timid of pilots to go shoot someone for their implants. They could even be dropped from certain NPC's, but that's wishful thinking.

I would like to have an implant that if tried to be salvaged and successfully, blew up the guys lab and pod him down to a 900k clone... Twisted

While we're at it... killed NPC ships should also drop corpses.

*edit.

maybe not, as that would kill the corpse market. Ugh

If not refining old corpses, at least let us load them in our festive launchers and shoot them at our enemies. Nothing says I hate you like tossing your enemy their own corpse.
