Ohh and this screenshot is using a POS lab by the way....

Note that the screenshot is for only 3 levels of TE ! so you need to multiply the time and cost by 10 to be at 10 ME & 20 TE!

At this rate I will never ever buy a capital BPO.

I'm looking at 888D 23H20 to get perfect in both and approx. 856mil to get ME10 and TE20.

Or are you trying run it 10 times?

Good question, the cost now scales in a fashion of skills, higher level costing significantly more time. Take 9 to 10 ME == 600 days for thanatos.

Probably, its from the dev blog tables, dunno if you expect a significant change for a 25% reduction.

Advantage to the vets who have 10/20 capital bpo who's with me don't worries copy times now so we can sell you our bpcs. And here i thought ccp wanted this change to help get newb players into it not lock them out of capitals

Not sure what you mean by news peak noise but I am aware that there was an error in calculating the cost for me and tell that was already addressed by ccp before this part went up

It should also be noted that research times aren't linear. Neither are costs. There's a curve.

ME 0-1 is cheaper than ME 1-2 (0 to 2 cost the same as 0-1 + 1-2)


It also depends on the system you're doing the research in.

There appears to be a bug at the moment, that means the first job in a system (if it's not had any) acts as if all the industry in New Eden happens there. (cost index of 1) It's been reported.

Once that job has happened and an hour has passed (to let the index update) prices will be more normal. This is on a per activity basis. So run a cheap ME research job if you really need to do this before a bugfix happens.



I /think/ I've implemented the scaling of time and cost correctly in my new calculator ( https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/blueprint/ ) but I won't swear to it.

Well, I'd expect a 150 day saving from a 25% reduction of 600 days.
Then you can stick it in a lab or upgraded caldari outpost to reduce the time further. (it's not additive, but multiplied. so it's not as effective. with a 35% reduction you're down to 48%, or 300 days)
And possibly also get in a team for a further reduction. (a 10% team would be 43%. or 263 days.)
