GoonsWaffe recruiter just tried Scamming me

Thank you a lot for your answer, my initial statements generalized my "hate" for Goons, but this was just to me being new at getting my trust crushed.

I have a trusting personality but that doesn't make me stupid, what it does sadly mean is I got rather upset finding out that the person I trusted had been trying to take advantage of me for days. I will contact you for sure when I learn more about the game and retrieve any insults towards any corporations, as I am a very new player and just don't have the knowledge to be able to make a general consensus towards any such party.

Thank you guys, and I hope the person at hand gets punished for his/her actions.

Makes you wonder why the person who made the page would include that.

A Thunderwaffle member tried to do an old vouch code scam on me after I posted a thread in Recruitment forum. I thought that my long story being in Convicted and later in FA and a killboard full of NC. & Co killmails would act as a nice portfolio, but oh well, was worth a shot. Had a nice chat with that guy after exposing his scam and went on to scary warm hole spaces.

Also, do background search on each corp that offer you membership, at least check their killboard and dotlan page.

That's quite the logical leap, Mr. Thule. All that means is that if you tried to bribe your way in, you're SOL. In the event any ISK changes hands as part of a legitimate offer from a Recruitment Officer/Director, it will always be returned as per the terms explained to the recruit.

This is quite a bit different from someone offering you a seat at our table in return for some paltry sum.

There is no requirement to personally know your sponsor, but you are responsible for his or her actions regardless, so it's a nice perk to be able to kick your sponsorees in the groin should they screw you over.

As both myself and Mr. Azaria have stated, there is indeed no way to get into GSF by paying someone ISK; however, a refundable security deposit and a bribe are not the same thing. The former compensates for the inability to kick one's sponsoree in the groin, while the latter is simply unethical.

The goons are far from being the "pro pvp-ers" they claim to be. Sure some of them are really knowledgeable in this area, but you'll see most of them farming anomalies in Ishtars or even mining ice in nullsec... Yep, you got it, most of them are just ratters or shot at rocks in space. Which means you can kill them if you really want to because you'll find most of the flying pve fits. Do whatever you want to do with that information, it's free of charge. Cool

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything--I'm assuming you're lost since 5ZXX isn't safe for you anymore.

Wait wait....this can't be. We all know from the "buff Concord" threads that Goons and their ilk know nothing of any part of the game, other than blowing up the innocent, and ruining the game for them.

For lacking PVP knowledge, they sure are doing rather well for themselves in terms of territorial control, eh? Please remember PVP includes aspects like ensuring you have superior numbers, flying effective fittings, ect. Look at the Sov map. They PVP well.


As for the scamming, come on guys. We know you scam. You know you scam. Anyone with a pod full of goo knows the way into goonwaffe is thru SA. Drop the act.

in fact you can find us running missions too, in Thetasquad's latest conquest, 5ZXX-K

course killing mission runners has been pretty difficult for mordus angels but you may have better luck
