Once you realize you don't need the mwd you will realize you don't need the large cap booster. Fits get really interesting at that point.

So the BS mwd thing. Please put one on your geddon. Undock. Align to something. Start a stop watch and turn your mwd on. Time how long it takes to get to that max mwd speed. Sit back and ponder how useful that speed and time to that speed really are in most situations.

Don't get me wrong, a mwd BS is a great thing for bumping other BS off of stations/gates but that's not really what a full mega pulse II geddon is really for. Especially on w/ 1600 plates(s) on it.

The point can be swapped for a few things, MWD isn't ideal because you have to downgrade your Utility high (Neut/Smartbomb) to medium, Deadspace AB can be good if you are expecting Blap Dreads.

MWD is used to get into optimal on a BS mostly.

For sure. This thread I think is more of a vague homage to the navy geddon. Disco geddon also has it's place.

My only problem w/ the geddon at this point is that Fozzy kind of ruined one of the classics when he made it a neut / drone platform. We already had the domminix and amarr sure didn't NEED a drone platform. Was just an odd change that removed a classic BS from a classic role.

That being said, it's one of the first ships I ask for if nuets are needed. It's fun to pop one out into null from a wh and take on all commers too. It's still a beast to be reconned with, just not the old school flair.

The geddon came first. If 'The Foz' had to mess up a ship - the little used and second in seniority apoc should have got his fairy wand. Apoc lost it's role as a structure grinder over time to various ships and lost it's role as a long range sniper to various changes (abaddon introduced, arty buff - and so on) The apoc should have gotten the new role. We lost the classic geddon and the apoc is still adrift w/ minimal functionality (anything the apoc can do - several other ships can do better)

Fozzination of many ships has been disappointing and the geddon is at the top of the list. Just saying he should have routed his changes through me.
