Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing gives you more drone control range on all drones.

Thermodynamics is the single most important pvp skill.

In many cases Nanofiber Internal Structure modules are preferable to Inertia Stabilizers. Always pay attention to any drawbacks on the modules you equip.

If you live in low/null sec, keep always your local chat channel open to see who is in system and have an instant intel on possible threats.
If you like to chat on other channels, then you can drag local channel out of the chat window and place it in another position on the screen. I also recommend to resize the local window so that it can show many ppl in the right column. Reduce the horizontal size to minimum and try to maximize the vertical size.

This shot can be a good example:

If you click on the first name in local, then shift click on the last name in local all the names in local will become highlighted.
Then when someone enters local you can instantly tell who it was as they are not highlighted.

You can also achieve this by clicking on any name in local and then clicking ctrl+a, that will make all names in local highlighted. And if someone enters you can notice that. I think this way can be bit quicker.

When undocking in an unsafe area, always hit Ctrl-spacebar or click the stop button, unless you're warping to an insta-undock bookmark.

This will not break your invulnerability timer, but any other ship movement or module activation will.

Your ship cannot be targeted or bumped until this invulnerability timer (30s) wears off or you break it.

It is not the same as the session change timer, and in fact, it is now LONGER than the session change, so you can easily dock back up before it is over.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

When you jump into a lowsec/null system and there are other ships on the grid

DON'T ******* MOVE

instead, stay calm and assess the situation. You are not on the grid or visible in space for 60 seconds unless you move. All they see is the gate flashes, and you appear in local (chat).

- what are they doing (most of the time other ships are travelling as well, and they either warp on their way or jump through)
- what ships they are in
- where are they (in point range or not, moving at what speed and where)
- what are you in

Then decide whether you can try to warp before they react, burn back to the gate, do the cloak+mwd trick, or proceed kicking their spacebutts?

You can center the camera in on a probe by clicking on it's label in space when viewing the solar system map, i.e.:

Probe 1 (idle) 32 AU.

1. Always warp into a fight after your fleet mates have landed so that you don't get primaried.
2. Shoot everything once so you get into as many km's as possible.
3. Keep calling for reps prematurely whether you are being shot or not.
4. ???
5. Now you are an elite pvper.

- Thermodynamics owns. Overheat everything.
- Only scrubs stop training Recons and Logistics once they reach level IV. Don't be that guy.
- Don't even think of boarding a capital ship without JDC IV.

Most fights in low sec are mexican stand offs. Waiting to see who will get gate gun aggro first.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Shooting Concord will let you see what your pod looks like in space, preceded by a pretty explosion.

In high security space, Concord will not rescue you (unless you can tank the other players' damage for long enough), but they will get revenge. So don't expect to be truly safe.

There are certain player-created tools that are considered essential:

    For character and skills management:
  • EVEMon, or
  • EVE HQ

  • For fitting ships:
  • EFT (EVE Fitting Tool), or
  • Pyfa (Python Fitting Assistant)

This signature intentionally left blank for you to fill in at your leisure.

Edit: Unaware if missiles and bombs will hit targets even if you warp off grid. Can someone clue me in.

Missiles : Missiles in flight to target will miss the instant you enter warp.
Bombs : They will continue their flight and explode when you warped off. You can warp the instant you launched. Often it is claimed this is not so, but those people's bombs are hitting gates or containers before travelling 30 km and then they will fizzle instead of explode. So launch and warp. If you jump or dock, the bomb will fizzle as well.

When using guns with low RoF, such as Artillery,
unstack them and activate each with a short delay in between.

This way, you're able to shoot at a new target earlier,
instead of having to wait for all (stacked) guns to complete the cycle and doing nothing.

This also saves you ammo. (works with missiles too)
