I've played for quite some time.. took a 1,5 year break from EvE and recently returned because.. there's nothing else really like it.

So at this point I'm considering what I should do..
- Wormholes seem awfully complicated and high maintenance considering my limited play time each week.
- I've tried factional warfare.. mass-paranoia and not alot of good fights to be found. Plus limited research tells me that the whole game has been rigged by LP-farmers anyway so.. what's the point.
- I've a nice lvl 4 setup in highsec I can use when needed to fund pvp, but other than an emergency ISK-faucet.. meh.
- NPC 0.0 seems barren.. can't really think of a reason to be there tbh.. and I've tried.

So.. I'm thinking sov 0.0. But when it comes to my gamestyle, I like playing in a way that'll make me ISK! at the end of the day.
Preferably more than I can make back in highsec. I know there's no PvP and noteworthy excitement to be had there.. but still.
Don't get me wrong, I like PVP, but not for the sole purpose of PVP (without there being some point to the fighting.

What're your reasons to live in sov 0.0, besides the fact that you get to shoot at..stuff , alot?
I left 0.0 around the time they changed the ways sanctums and those other "regular" anamolies work.
From the shouts, fire and smoke rising behind me as I left I gathered that few were pleased with the changes.. don't know how things currently are though..?

And I can't think of alliances sharing the wealth they pull from moons and such amongst their members, gently but ever so kindly feeding the hungry wallets of their underlings..
So what makes it attractive for me, as an individual to go out there and fight for other people who are making ISK(!)?

And yes, I'm honestly being serious.. give me your stories..

I can only speak for myself, but if from my experience, if you want to live in 0.0 with the sole goal to make money, you will not enjoy it for very long.

Yes, you can probably make more from PvE in null than you can in high. Yes, you'll make more mining in null than you would in high. Yes, you can possibly make isk from pvp.

However, none of the above should be the exclusive reason people go to null. My favorite part of being in null, and the aspect that CCP tries so furiously to promote, is the idea of what you can build (or destroy) by cooperating with other people. I didn't go to null to make money. I went to help defend a home. I went to help mine the minerals, which would be used to build ammo, which would be used to stock the market, which would be bought by my friends to help them make isk, or shoot baddies. I went to help join in the fleet that would try to kick the roaming gang out, or try to expand our territory, or just try to harass the enemy. I personally love the feeling that null provides of "This is my home, you can have it when you pry it from my cold, dead hands".

In general, the people that go to null with the goal of helping themselves end up contributing very little to the group, and burning out once they've mastered the pve and acquired a small fortune. But if you go to null with the goal of helping the group, you'll find a nearly endless source of challenges, content, and personal victories.

This is fact.
There's a reason that most null players have at least one highsec alt.

OK, bottom line: Eve is boring, period, full stop.
Look at the PCU, and compare it to the last 4 years.

Low sec FW is the only area with any consistent PvP activity (if you like that kind of thing), mainly because a breakaway null sec group got desperate for PvP and started FW in Huola.

So, if you want pure PvE, join a null sec group like goons, pl, or N3, or become a serf of one of them, and watch the ISK roll in.
You want PvP, do the same thing and then have an alt get into FW.

Only way you will have any "interesting times" in Eve presently.

Dinsdale, one day, CCP might actually get around to having EVE organised in such a way that null is the ISK fountain for individuals you imagine it to be.

I want this to happen, so we can see what happens when all the nullsec players hang up their highsec alts and move back home.

The point of sov nullsec is that, if you win enough, eventually even the sight of your corp ticker makes people mad at you.

That way you are trolling without even trying, and people like Dinsdale want you tried at the Hauge for war crimes in a videogame.
