My ship randomly starts overloading

I was doing some missions and my ship thought it would be a great idea to start overloading! All of the racks did at the same time. Did i accidentally press something or is it working as intended?

take your finger off shift before you click,
you might actually have shift bound to a button on your mouse without realising it, i had done that at onepoint.

You most likely have clicked a little high on the weapons group.

Edit: I see you said "all the groups" so yeah. some hot key or binded key maybe.

I had a sticky key and that ended up overloading a bunch of stuff unintentionally, so that might be an issue.

Use a mouse with side buttons and set your overheat on/off toggle to one of the side buttons. Use a razer nostromo or some other keypad to bind your modules to so you can easily click them on and off whenever you want. Sweet.

Set recall drones to the other side button.

Do some other **** with buttons to make your life easier.

If you're doing missions lock the overload status so you don't accidentally overload.

I had a car that did that. Remember to change the oil in your ship every 50,000 light years.

Hi. If you look to the right of your capacitor you'll see three little icons that represent hi/mid/low slots - you can click the hi-slots icon to overload the entire rack. You can tell whether or not the modules will overheat by looking at the icons - if it's green, all of the modules in that rack will overload when activated.

I've done that before. vOv
