odd question perhaps, but do you guys have a place thata feels like home to you? guess it would be where you live for most of you. thing is, I dont feel that way, I have this house that keeps my bed and other crap dry and such(and sometimes I feel I got too much stuff, could fill up 2 cars with it all...) but it doesnt feel home..
Im renting it luckely, cause sometiems the thought of "owning"a house(well the bank usualy owns it) where Im supposed to live for who knows how long, scares and depresses the crap out of me.

dunno, only place I really felt like I was home last decade or so been while traveling, riding my bike wherever(be it to my house, to someplace I had to go for work or so) or when walking around on airports waiting for next flight going "home" or to work.

luckely my job offshore takes me quite nicely around the world, and I usualy feel more at home when Im laying in a (bunk) bed on a ship then I do in my own bed at "home"

dunno, just wondering if anyone elsed feels like this, like not really belonging anywhere. sometimes when riding my bike somewhere I just feel like keep on going, keep on following the highway till it ends then take the next one and see where that one goes.

You have a gypsy soul. Felt that way since I got out of the military. It's a very tearing feeling. "I sleep in there" then points finger at house. Doctors tried to give me pills.

Same here. After the military (which kept me moving around), I continued to be a nomad for several years.

I own a home now but even so my heart is not in it becuase everything in my life is "passing."

When I think of home, I think of living in a lighthouse on a rocky shore. I guess that is where I belong.

When I think of home it is in an old castle, long damaged by war. Banners with my family crest wave with a tattered appearance and I am alone. On grey days I look over the wall and see my day to day life. I think I lost my sould in Iraq. Thats okay, it can stay there. It just got in the way.

well I havnt been in the military so I dont know where I got it Shocked
though I did move about 5 times in 2 years a couple years ago, but even before that I never really felt like I had a home

wonder if its a common thing, or if most people feel it's home where theye live
