Launcher freezing - can't launch the game!

Hello everyone,

on my MBP (late 2013) I'm using EVE through Steam (because one of my accounts is via Steam-Login).

When I start EVE through Steam it normally starts the launcher and logs the Steam-User in (or you can logout and login with a different user).

I can't remember since which patch I got this problem but when I start the game the Launcher opens up and does nothing (it freezes after some time -> rainbow wheel).

My Mac is/was always up2date with every update installed and now using "Yosemite Dev. Prev. 2" (which isn't the problem scince the same problem occured on "Mavericks"!)

Since I have to shut the Launcher down via the Taskmanager I got an error-log which I can't due it's length...

Does anyone have simlier problems or does know what triggers the Launcher to not work/freeze?

Yep. Here's what happens to me.

I'll log in via launcher, the black screen pops up, then nothing.

Although I hear sound, and when I click on where a character select item should be, I hear it say, "connecting" Then all of a sudden i hear my ship enter the hangar. Note that all happens with the black screen.

I've cleared the eve and launcher caches. And about to try doing a complete reinstall.

This seems to happen ever 6 months or so, and is pretty aggravating. Not to mention multiboxing still isn't an option beings once you close one client, all others freeze...
