So, here's the deal; walking in stations in my point of view is going to be quite awesome, but this isnt about that. This is about the integration between the external and internal EVE universe.

FORUMS. For those that don't know, a 'forum' wasn't always a messageboard where people posted things and other people replied in that 'thread'.

What if CCP blurred the lines a little, and created an area on each station that would give you access to the offline forums in an interactive and potentially social group experience? As new threads are posted, they would automagically update some sort of board that would be huge and clearly visible to all in the forum chambers (perhaps with privacy chambers - for a price - being set up too).

The idea is that you wander your character over to the Forum Chamber or sommat, and other players will be doing the same. Quiet stations will obviously mean smaller chambers (this would scale with the amount of traffic the station sees (see, CCP? I wont give up on station scaling yet!)), and larger ones would obviously be impressive, expansive and able to accommodate many many people.

Visually; If you're just browsing away at them, you stay along the sidelines and simply observe; your avatar doing the same thing. If you post, your avatar would physically move closer to the forum boards themselves, graphically portraying your level of participation.

Beautifully, this will single out two sub-species of forumdwellers -- both the trolls AND those with something to say would eventually find themselves at the very core of the crowd, drawing the most attention. 'Like' something someone said? Perhaps your avatar would wander over, closer to them, and effectively be able to be notified visually that the person they 'Like'd has posted/said something new, rather than having to browse the boards.

This would naturally mean people clustering together, common thoughts portrayed in sharing common physical space, and perhaps the periphery would harbour some of the more prominent traders, hauliers and contract ninjas.

...soooo.... yeah thats the idea. Imagine the stark contrast between a privately owned nullsec station (small, and looking like it houses ships and other wargear (station scaling, CCP - trust me)) and an unimaginably vast monstrosity of metal, bustling within as literally hundreds, if not thousands of players go about their business aboard Jita's main station.
