Lack of N.E.S clothing. (I can't believe I'm writing about this...)

So, if you un-check that little handy 'Show Only Available' button, you can see in the 'Apparel' section of the market that there are a whole lot more options for clothing styles and colors than what we currently can buy.

I honestly never though I would play EVE: Space Barbie, but I'll be damned if i wouldn't actually buy some of those.

WHY are all those clothes not available? There are only TWO styles of the 'rocket' dress for purchase while there are 11 in game. What exactly is the point in making the other 9 unavailable?

Same goes for all the mens stuff too.

Why would they release it now, that's practically an entire expansion.

Well, assuming you're talking about the ingame market, and not the actual store, that would be because the ingame market is player-seeded...
So, if stuff is unavailable, it's because people aren't putting it up on sale.

If, by any chance, you're talking about the NES-store (or whatever the name is this week), i don't know P

I thought about buying a shirt once.

Then I realized it would be like putting a friggin' poncho on the Venus de Milo. There are some things that you just don't do.

Once upon a time, CCP created the NEX and clothing to go in it. As you've seen they would create one style of shirt, and then color it a dozen different ways. Then repeat this for pants, shoes, other styles etc. and you eventually end up with the database of clothing they have. With the release of the NEX, only so much clothing was released before the Riots and then the whole project was dropped completely for a year or two. It was only recently that they started to release items again. I would say to be patient, but there is no telling if the item you are looking for is eventually destined for the NES or if it is destined to be given out with some random PLEX promotion at some point in the future. Or the faction warfare LP shop. It could be a day or it could be years...literally.

The thing is, jwing, since all those variations can be seen on the market and viewed in 3D, are they not already IN the game?

Would putting all those variants on the NES really take more than a few developer keystrokes and clicks?

Must drain all existing free aurum from incarna fiasco from market before you can implement the stuff people will really want.

As long as the apparel matches the floor of my CQ...

I really want more apparel to choose from...lot of apparel so we can start looking more unique instead of way to many people looking alike.
Some race specific items would be nice too....bring back the Minmatar breathing masks!! Attention

-Yes, all of that clothing exists in the database/game. They were made years ago and have long since either been paid off or wrote off.

-Nope. All that clothing is waiting on is a developer to perform those "few keystrokes and clicks". I imagine they are either going to be added to the NES at some point or some of the special bits are being kept for promotions.

And to make it even worse, some of the items being added to the NES were items already available in the NEX. So they could literally be fleshing out the store with low ticket items that haven't already been available before but ya, they choose not to.

This could so easily be a thread about Monocles.
