My story:

I canceled my two accounts a little over 3 years ago (Summer of Rage, anyone?). I gave all my stuffz to in game friends and sold my main to a corp mate because I was done. But just like Al Pacino in The Godfather Part III, just when i thought I was out I find myself being pulled back in. My main was a miner and honestly I found mining to be somewhat therapeutic. I never really explored PvP very much, I just docked up when a red was in system. All that being said, I want to learn how to fight.

I decided to re-sub my alt account which had a decent miner and an SB trained toon that I used for alliance blob fights. When it comes to play style in most games I tend to play the equivalent of a ranged character or cannon fodder infantry. All that being said, here's some additional info on the real me:

  • I'm over 35 but less than 50, married with a 9 year old teenager, a full time job, and a mortgage. I do have a social life outside of the internet (although the balance seems to be shifting the older I get).
  • If you've ever seen Family Guy, I am the embodiement of Peter Griffin. My humor (or humour, if you prefer) is often sarcastic, frequently biting, and occasionally scatalogical.
  • I'm located on the east coast of the US (GMT/UTC -4/-5).


As far as the EVE me goes:

  • I was a director and recruiter in a previous corp (Sesqupidallian) and de facto CEO of a corp (Murasaki Mining) whose founder had to deal with RL issues.
  • My current corp (CRIMMSEN) is a dummy corp I created several years ago to avoid the NPC Corp tax.
  • I have two toons from my previous alt account:
  • Nullsec experience
  • Praetor Siderium (PvP/PvE focused with 21 mil SP)
  • all racial frigates to at least Lvl 4
  • all racial destroyers to at least level 2
  • all racial cruisers to at least Lvl 4
  • all racial battlecruisers to at least level 3
  • Recon ships to level 2
  • HAC to level 2
  • Covert Ops to level 5
  • Tenobia Kazadi (mining/industry focused with 20 mil SP)
  • Orca capable in about 2 days time
  • most resource processing to at least level 3 and several to level 4


So anyone want to make fun of me as I die horribly over and over again while telling me what I did wrong?

Should I be scared?

Solaris Dominion is very RL friendly, as most of us have kids ourselves.

We're in this for a couple of things: To have fun playing Eve and making ISK.
